  1. Before Fatawu got injured I felt a 3-4-2-1 with El Khannouss and Bounanotte behind Vardy would have been worth looking at. We need to get more stability defensively and have creativity and bravery in the final third.
  2. He'll say he's exceeding that today with Hamza and Thomas 😂
  3. Steven Cooper's identity in a nutshell. We get the worst of both worlds with him.
  4. He's turbo multiplied the dumplings there. This could be 7 or 8
  5. Just off to do Sense Valley park run in this muck. Edited to say Sense Valley was cancelled when I got there so did Market Bosworth instead. My watch didn't start for the 1st km either. Superb, really pleased. FFS 24.18 according to the parkrun site, which is a park run PB for ms as I've not ran one since the summer. It's 2 mins shy of my best 5km time though.
  6. We'll see tonight who's missing from the U21 side. At least one of Alves, Evans or Monga is surely in contention with the possibility of no Fatawu, Bounanotte, Reid, Ayew and Vardy .
  7. Really feel for the lad but I'm just numb to the relentless disappointments and set backs for this club. Things change fast but up until a few weeks ago I thought our squad had some danger men and quality that would put us in with a very good chance of staying up. Suddenly that looks a pipe dream now and we can't even draw confidence we can scrap for points as Cooper has not yet found the formula to defend robustly. Need to get through to January and back a new manager and hope we're not cut adrift.
  8. Not unless our coaching methods and facilities leave players vulnerable to injury. Highly subjective bar the actual evidence of the sheer volume of lengthy injuries over the last 4-5 years. Always concerning when players arrive here having seldom suffered an injury in their careers and then they suffer very quickly. Look at Coady and possibly Ayew depending on the severity of this knee injury he's got on international duty.
  9. Ayew somehow recovered from a more serious knee injury than Fatawu? MACHINE
  10. He was assistant there before wasn't he?
  11. Think he's using the last 5 games as the metric.
  12. Arguably the best goalkeeper in the PL at times this season so needs more competition.
  13. He's been pictured back in training i think
  14. Not so sure, Ricardo did his vs Aston Villa on 9th March 2020 and had had surgery by 20th March. Fatawu's does seem to have been done within a week but I think it depends on whether there's a full tear and/or the level of swelling. Let's hope it's not ACL and he's back very soon.
  15. I think they'll come in to the reckoning if Ayew is also injured for a long time.
  16. I wonder what these catastrophic injuries do to his tenure. I fear they'll be resigned to us battling relegation and just keep him. Terrifying prospect.
  17. Not so sure what enough wing backs that can play that.
  18. The games I've seen of us under McSweeney this season look at times far more impressive than the Petty years. The fast tracking of certain players from the impressive U16 winning team in to the U21s is a positive too.
  19. Has anyone found the footage of the injury that he went off with? Surgery on the knee is never good news is it.
  20. KP could just match the amount and it be classed as fair market value.
  21. Wait until she hears about Wout Faes multiplying the dumplings.
  22. Whatever the deal was, I presume KP can step in a match the terms if they need to. Let's hope the club learn from this.
  23. I'm yet to see us disciplined enough to properly apply a low block under Cooper. He's picked many teams with defensive personnel (such as 3 defensive midfielders) but then hasn't set us up or poorly instructed us to defend deeply. We get the worst of both worlds in that regard.
  24. He multiplies the dumplings has absolutely buried me 😂
  25. Fairly happy with this. 1 hr 52 in grotty conditions and London traffic to contend with. It's becoming quite clear though that I don't think I have a marathon in me and that might be fine. Half's are about the optimum before it gets properly unpleasant.
