Fans wanted flexibility. Enzo has extremely good ideas and coaching ability but is immovable in his approach. Ending up with Cooper is not just deserts at all. It is possible to find a coach who will play to the squads strengths and be tactically very flexible in certain periods of the season or particular games etc. Cooper is not the one.

Zero hopefully

Every signing bar Okoli (the oddest signing of the lot) has to have Premier League experience. Percy alluded to Cooper's requests. I suppose it would have looked a lot different if Soule came in but he hasn't. I just see a situation where we've got fcuk all squad value and very little young exciting prospects. Those we do have he'd rather play Hamza Choudhury in the hole to get him minutes. Heads well and truly fell off. I want him gone. That's the Leicester I know and love, having a manager who never managed an official game before being removed.

I'm triggered, I want him gone.

It's fairly commonplace to do so to fine tune things with a week to go. You'd hope this isn't what he'll pick vs Spurs but you never know, he was extremely turgid in his team selections at Forest in games against the big 6, so I could well see him deploy 3 defensive midfielders. I've realised today I just cannot hack both the return to the PL or Cooper being in charge. When the fun stops, stop. Genuinely wish we were still in the EFL. This isn't what I want at all, so I suppose getting blasted week in, week out is just ticking the games off to him getting sacked and us going back to the Championship. If Top would sell up as well come the end of it then fantastic.
-
He's not earnt the chance, abysmal decision making in pre-season and a clear shift in transfer strategy too because of him. Get him gone, cannot stand the thought of being managed by him.
-
Still not starting Alves is just criminal. His excuse its about getting minutes in to players playing out of position is rubbish as had we got an ACM in earlier they'd be playing instead of Choudhury in the 10 role. Pathetic. Cooper out

Who do you want for next season in the PL

This should be the priority signing -
Where's the creative midfield back up to Bouanonatte? We need 3 new midfielders.
-
He's an attacking central midfielder. The fact he's moved roles to a deeper position and not done as well doesn't change that. I'd have him here as a creative 8/10 and I think he'd do well.

Him and Mavididi will alternate as the number 9/LW

I don't hate it

I liked the look of him at Reims when he was breaking through. If staying up at all costs is why we're loaning rather than signing unproven players, I really wish we'd also get a few £5m players in and loan them to Leuven for the season. We have an appalling squad value right now.
-
That's a surprisingly good deal for West Ham.
-
Depends how much they'd be willing to sell him for. We bid upwards of £20m + add ons for Soule. I actually don't really want us paying loads for individual players anyway, would rather our scouts and recruitment team go and find these players at source. Brighton paid just £5m for Bouonanotte, we seem averse to doing so when we're in the Prem.

We should give him the benefit of the doubt -
He is very talented, would rather we buy someone of his ilk but here we are. GERRIMIN

Yeah that sounds about right. Part of me wishes we'd not got promoted. -

You sure on that? Souttar was 5th choice last season with Nelson 4th choice. If Nelson hasn't been bumped down, who's 5th choice now? We should be building the team around Nelson, Braybrooke and Alves this season. We're evidently going straight back down. -

I wouldn't mind this approach if we prioritised our academy players development in preparation for 2025/26. Not seeing signs that would be the strategy though. -
Bravo on a free

I wouldn't even know where to start on what our best team might be. Like having to order food for when you come out of having open heart surgery.

Could we finally land Karamoko Dembele from Brest? Was obscene at Blackpool last season. -
Of course we don't. But I got a suspicion we might have been banking on players leaving (as we seemingly do year after year, only for them not to and we can't buy) and was waiting for an article saying as much. It's now arrived. It's like groundhog day.
