State of the squad and rest of the season, an opinion.
Ric Flair replied to Chrysalis's topic in Leicester City Forum
I still believe in a chunk of this squad. It looks bleak right now with the added injuries to a crucial player like Fatawu + a few others but I think we can get to 35-40 points. -

The overwhelming thing i hear from players and coaches is RvN is very good at improving players. That's a massive positive. Really hope he can get some semblance of sanity from this club to build something here. -

I like 3-4-2-1 but surely that's El Khannouss and Bounanotte together. Suppose that can happen off the bench. Thomas in is a brave call 😂 -

Championed Enzo and Mavididi too so I've broken the curse. I'm very good with managers, identified Slot in 2019 and knew Alonso was going to be the bollocks. I'M BACK -

And Ruud helped serve a few excellent players through the academy and reserve team. -

I'd counter the PSV improved after he left bit with the fact his successor benefitted from being able to spend a chunk of the funds they got from selling Madueke and Gakpo, as well as inheriting Bakayoko who's had a year developing under Ruud to kick on in his 2nd season. They were bang in the mix for the title until those mid season sales. -

Suppose the only difference was Percy has said its Ruud, where as in the summer everyone else was saying it was Potter and then he broke it was going to be Cooper.

Do not be surprised if this isn't announced until after the Brentford game. -

Was told this morning it's unlikely this will be announced today. Knowing us it'll rumble on a few days. -
Didn't someone on here mention Darren Fletcher?

Ruud awakening for the Premier League!
Ric Flair replied to DJ Barry Hammond's topic in Leicester City Forum
Whilst I can see why some fans take this view, there surely has to be the possibility that vastly talented coaches/managers at the start of their career have something about them that convinces clubs to take the high risk high reward chance. It was as clear as day after just a year or so of Arne Slot at AZ Alkmaar how good he was going to be (I called it) and likewise Xabi Alonso (I called it) from the glowing praise he got by all and sundry when he started out at Sociedad's B team. Whilst for every Slot and Alonso there's a Gerrard and Lampard, there's also clubs like us giving perceived proven managers a go who've an armpit full of failures and seemingly so stubborn to utilise the exact same methods that got them the sack previously too. It's a risk but I prefer these types (Enzo) than going for someone like Moyes or dare I say it even Potter who I can't bare. -
