  1. It's hard enough to squeeze through the turnstile as it is
  2. Correct, I don't see him ever scoring at The Bernabau.
  3. I can see the temptation with him being on a free transfer and we will possibly need to pick a few up to pad the squad out but he'd be a back up at best in the Prem.
  4. I'm not so sure. He missed the majority of Coventry's playoff season last year and then whilst he came back in December and had a very good few months, he's not been overly impressive in the last few weeks. My best mate is a Cov fan and he said he's a decent player at this level but they're not that bothered he's going compared to Hamer/Gyokores. I'm torn, he might be a half decent sub option but I could see him not fitting in.
  5. Quite possibly why the fee was as high as this. Had the 50% sell on not been active, I don't think Sporting would have demanded as much. For us though, he's proven he's actually a very astute piece of business for the price.
  6. My concerns on O'Hare are he's not quick enough. He's got a very good first touch and ability to twist and turn but you need extra at the highest level. I also cannot stand the lad but suppose that could change. Would much prefer Jack Rudoni from Huddersfield who's very similar in style to KDH.
  7. That collar on the home shirt is horrid.
  8. We were comprehensively better than Preston (who are better than Blackburn) after what appeared to be quite an intense 48+ hour piss up. 5-1 Leicester.
  9. Good appointment. They've got strong links with the French league already so could be a good combo.
  10. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/enzo-marescas-abandoned-15m-plan-8726165 Think we'll go back for him
  11. It'll be interesting to see how the charity uses those funds, as well as the donation Top made this week. There could potentially be north of a million in there, to go with the £200k already sat in the accounts (freely available to view under their published charity accounts). Hopefully at the very least the majority of this gets given out for those in need to benefit from.
  12. Georges Mikautadze - didn't we try and sign him previously? Big fan
  13. 100% Do you think he could be deployed in the 8 role or move him alongside Winks (might be better suited to doing so when we're in the Prem) and then get a proper 10 behind the striker. I really like Salvatore Esposito as an aggressive all action midfielder too. Both he and Zambrano destined for the top.
  14. Adem Zorgane to replace Ndidi for £4-5m would be my pick. We need someone deployed as an 8 that has the skill set of a prime 6 but who is also able to chip in with the creative side of things too.
  15. This is it, he's a pretty prolific goalscorer from midfield but I'm not sure what his best attributes are except scoring. Age wise I think we will have to pick up a few mid twenties or older players if we need free transfers. At 26 that's fine but wages have to be sensible too. Bernabe is a good shout, it's such a shame Luka Ilic has already agreed to go Red Star Belgrade. He would be such a handy pick up on a free. Ex Man City, left footed goalscoring attacking midfielder and only 24.
  16. Decent list this is pal! Two others I've earmarked. Kane Taylor for RCM Salvatore Esposito for DCM
  17. Dani de Wit has always scored goals from midfield. Contract up this summer. I'm not completely blown away by him but I'll be honest, I've not followed him that closely. @kingfox @Tommy Fresh @moore_94 @LVFox What we think?
  18. Harrison Burrows has to be our 1st signing of the summer. Contract is up, ridiculous stats albeit in League One. He's quick, left footed and looks versatile enough to play the role Doyle and Justin have played this season under Enzo. Anyone who raves about Leif Davis, then here's your man for a small compensation fee.
  19. I'd like him to stay too but he might be on big wages, wouldn't be the first time an unproven player was offered huge money.
  20. They seem to be OK in regards to PSR but not in terms of cash flow. Usually one follows the other but not always. Suppose the owners can loan them funds for cash flow, it's for PSR that owners can't pump money in for wages and transfers.
  21. Not sure why this would be a free transfer if we offer him a new deal. We'd get compensation wouldn't we?
  22. Has to change at some point surely. The teams in the playoffs are all in uttering mingin' form. It's too hard to call really. I think there'll be a reaction from one of Leeds or Southampton to get through to the final, possibly even both of them but then who knows how they fair at Wembley when the pressure really ramps up. Hull are a curious one if they make the playoffs at West Brom's expense (or a huge goal difference swing with Norwich). They've been very suspect defensively of late but electric going forward and in better form than the rest.
  23. He cost us €14m / £12.3m in 22/23. Over 5 years that's just under £2.5m a season. We'll have booked x 2 £2.5m leaving around £7.5m left. The €15m option they have is worth around £12.9m at today's rate. So anything over £7.5m means we're not worse off for PSR but it would be nice to get a few profits in before thr end of June to try and limit any breach.
