  1. We are down, been convinced it's a possibility regardless of a points deduction but that will seal it as we unravel to new depths in the next few months.
  2. I'd be amazed if there wasn't an announcement next week on this.
  3. I suspect the pull of Top potentially throwing out cuddly bears to grown adults again was too much to resist.
  4. Given Top is here today I hope we lose 20 nil rather than my standard 10.
  5. How on earth is he still in the 18s. We deserve to lose him to another club.
  6. Marti going to still pick Nelson, Okoli and Vestergaard or is one of them dropping to the bench?
  7. Old Chapel conversion?
  8. Thanks mate, knew you'd know.
  9. You could be right and the law change thst prevents re-selling straight away (still could loan with an obligation) then it might make these deals change the terms to be more in favour of the player on exercising the buy option.
  10. Actually very few confirmed examples of players rejecting and it's because most loan with options to buy already have the contract between player and club agreed. A.I view Why this is so rare The reason you don't see this often is due to the way Pre-Agreed Contracts work: The "Double Contract": Usually, when a player signs a loan-to-buy, they sign two contracts at once: the loan contract and the permanent contract that kicks in if the option is triggered. Legal Binding: Once those are signed, the player usually has no legal ground to "reject" the move if the club pays the fee.
  11. No I wouldn't but as I've said I don't think he has a choice if we want to make it permanent.
  12. Is this common though, seldom have I ever seen the players side renegade on a deal. Alderweild is the only one I can think of but there's likely more. But it almost always is seen as the buying team who opt not to exercise the option.
  13. Doesn't appear to be overly strong going forward at a lower level but if he can at least defend and be competent supporting the attack then that would be a plus.
  14. There's a lot to digest here, but the overriding thing is - this is absolutely relentless.
  15. I'll wear a clip on ponytail and Lonsdale joggers
  16. Yes i'd happily do that. I suspect when it happens, we are more aligned than is first thought. I refuse to believe Brock is that out of kilter.
  17. Oh god, forgot how painful trying to find a reasonably priced family holiday abroad is that the hotel isn't the absolute pits. No wonder I bought a caravan a few years back 😂 Come on then, please recommend me your favourite all inclusive hotel in Europe that's less than a bag of sand a person outside of school holidays. Cheers
  18. If either he or Soumare start ahead of Page in James absence then I will genuinely view this as the biggest scandal of this truly horrifying season. You can't rule it out either.
  19. Looking at the table currently, without any points deduction I think Sheffield Utd, Southampton and Norwich will outperform us by more than the points we are ahead of them between now and the end of the season. The rest i'm not sure on, all seem as poor as we are or worse but when you add in anything from a 6+ points deduction and I think we would be in a world of trouble with how this group of players and manager deal with the pressure. As H says, 5 or so wins from the remaining games in that environment would be a tall order and if James is out for any length of time then draw the curtain now please. Get us gone.
  20. I think the 9 key on your keyboard is stuck pal.
  21. I cannot fathom out why we'd agree a fee for a player that the manager is extremely unsure on. Talk about a disconnect. This is a market that Cifuentes is majorly experienced in as well.
  22. Hahahahaaa have to swallow our ego. Oh no pal, stay patient. Still plenty of time to train, I had tendonitis back in late Nov/Dec and was stressing big time but managed it OK so far. You'll be fine, couple of weeks is usually all it takes.
  23. Week 3 of the block, so far so good. Finding the long runs extremely difficult to run at such a slow pace but know I must do if I want to limit any chance of my body falling apart as the mileage really ramps up in the coming weeks. Missing blasting proper speed stuff but will incorporate some in when I can.
  24. My personal opinion is, the club already know the outcome.
