I mean it's the favoured team he picks every week, as crap as it looks. Shame Page isn't starting as Bobby been a little ineffective of late.

We just have no visible strategy thst has adjusted to counteract the situation we find ourselves in. We have no experience at dealing in the markets we need to utilise now in order to find value for significant gains, we just appear to now be interested in experienced players on the decline or domestic loans and free transfers. I hope i'm wrong but I really don't rate Martyn Glover and our scouting network does not yet appear to be operating in the leagues we need to be looking at.

Staggering we haven't done any business in that league since Yuki Abe I think? I know the likes of Japan and South Korea are no way alike to Thailand bar being in the vicinity of South East Asia but it still surprises me there's been no natural vested interest in the best leagues of that region which is notorious for finding value and players settling well in English leagues.

Ripping it up this season, don't see where we'd get the money from for him. Would cost at least £6m +

I can confirm I absolutely hate them. I will not be speaking further on the matter for the next 20 seconds. -

Blackburn Rovers are not much of a better prospect than us, if you want to compare owners then the Venky's make Top look like some sort of footballing pioneer.

Looking at some of the signings Championship clubs are making this last week i'm not so sure that's true. We just don't do things efficiently. Earthy, Cashin, Hoever all should have been realistic loan targets for us.
-
True but he did say in the summer we needed to move players on before we considered any incomings and thats whay happened. I'm not naive, I doubt we sign more than 1, if any but that's as much through incompetence than because we do in fact need to get rid before signing anyone and are being economical with the truth.

Cifuentes said that was not the case last week. We don't need to sell to buy.

Legend thank you pal 💙 -
Over 4-5 years it's only £500-750k in amortisation so not really a major outlay for Championship clubs, even crap ones. Only extremely badly run clubs like us due to obscene wages cannot pay for players currently.
-
If we're getting a points deduction that would put us in the relegation picture, how are we going to go for promotion?

ALL CONFIRMED Just fingers crossed we don't get done over with the game being played on Monday night. The plan is to record a podcast Saturday or Sunday though in Cremonese so that will happen regardless. Going to try and get another game or two in if timing allows, there's the minor game of Inter v Juventus at the San Siro 😎 Would be great if anyone has nothing better to do that weekend and wants to come and get arseholed with me. -
Reminds me a bit of Beckford as a player, goalscorer but think in certain teams he is badly suited. We are not a hard working team and that means we need a striker that does more than his fair share of the leg work, that is not Piroe.
-
And links to the likes of Dykes and Dowell suggest we haven't any strategy how we might attempt to prosper in such a frugal environment. We just won't have done the required research over a sustained period of time working under extremely tight financial circumstances and identify players for minimal outlay that can improve us. There are clubs like Preston and Millwall who have been able to build squads for modest totals that are currently far better than us.
-
He's struggled to get in a dog shit Rangers team in recent years and didn't do much in the latter years at Norwich. Deeply disturbing if this is what we are resorting to. As I suspected, we are skint and yet our recruitment network just has no strategy to operate efficiently in this environment.

Still stand by my statement we'll be borderline bust within 18 months. -

Just checked, its far better than I thought. Played 8, won 2, drew 4, lost 2 -
I don't think it's that unreasonable to think Choudhury is not a right back and shouldn't be playing there. I think he gets way too much of a pass for being played out of position.

I'll die on this hill, but he still has all the ingredients to go right to the very top. Still only 20 years old.

Correct me if i'm wrong but we have quite a poor record against teams managed by Frank Lampard? Seem to gift them points when they are under pressure. -
