I wad pleased to see we tried to tweak it for him to be more of a 10 than the role KDH or Ndidi play. That's correct. You can't get him playing box to box, not without a strong runner next to him which Casadei isn't.
-
We certainly can, but whilst AFCON is on and we've a few other players absent, I do think we need to protect Winks, KDH, Mavididi and Fatawu. The good thing is, we've a week's rest after Millwall and then another 8-9 days after Cov. I was not impressed with how dirty Millwall were the other week too, Fatawu can sit this one out for me and I'd rest Winks too. Stolarczyk Albrighton Coady Nelson Doyle Casadei Hamza KDH Yunus Cannon Wanya

Don't think so. I presume Braybrooke has had a set back and Alves we know picked up a muscle injury. Enzo's timescales put him being back about now but it's been suggested he's still several weeks away again.
-
Goals aside, it was the rest of his game that pleased me too. He doesn't hesitate on anything. How often have we seen Iheanacho, Vardy and Daka receive the ball and be uncertain on what to do. Cannon was making quick lay offs or if he received the ball and had space, he was confident to run with it but more importantly get his head up and assess what was in front of him. What a start. Let's hope he can keep it up.
-
If he shows the grit and determination to match his technical ability then he's got every chance of a very good career. I like him, but I do fear it'll be very difficult for him to prosper in English football.

Should have had a hattrick today
-
Much better 2nd half today.
-
He runs like Nugent but doesn't hesitate at shooting like Kane. Is it 2013?
-
That is a ridiculous finish from Cannon, taken things by the scruff of the neck. The midfield isn't working and Fatawu is having a grotty game. I'd like to see Albrighton and Wanya come on.
-
Alves in injured. We don't have another left winger currently. We also lose Ndidi for 4-6 weeks who is a big miss as an 8 and Akgun and KDH doesn't work as a combo. It all rests on Casadei to step up, which to date hasn't worked out yet. If a cheap loan deal is available for a player who got 11 goals and 8 assists the last time he was in the Championship, it really is a no brainer.

Because the legacy has to be positive. He left the club in a worse shape than he found it, and our rapid decline was the most shocking of any team in PL history. So it's understandable that some fans can't stomach such fond memories of him. I loved the first few years and in time I'll be able to gain something more than I can now but it will very much depend on how we bounce back.
-
Many deals don't get done until the last week of January, he'll be back early Feb so it might not completely put off clubs. All depends how desperate we are to get a small fee for him.
-
It is a no brainer, his two vest positions are LW and as an attacking midfielder. Both areas we could do with another option and especially in the next 6 weeks. Abdul Fatawu also barely played at Sporting and there were reports of him not surrounding himself with good people and he's been a revelation. Carvalho in 2021/22 at this level was very impressive. No brainer.
-
We also have an option to buy if we either don't get promoted or he doesn't play 60% of our matches. So I doubt that's the reason for this decision.
-
Annoyingly, the one player who'd offer similar attributes to Ndidi is Adem Zorgane from Charleroi but he will also be away at AFCON.
-
If it stops Southampton or Leeds getting him and he comes in and scores and assists like he does with ease at this level then it's a no brainer.
-
Kudus is Ghanaian
-
Baring in mind there was some reports last summer questioning those around him, that is very pleasing to hear. Everything about Fatawu seems so positive right now.
-
This is unlikely to be his decision on his own. He's only been on the standby list for recent squads and got in because of injuries and it was probably going to be the case again for AFCON. I suspect both Houghton and Fatawu have decided its best he stays here and carries on his progression and secure his future.
-
I'd like to see Cannon start today, although if Daka is still here then I can see the temptation to start him again as he's scored every home game he's started so far. Hermansen Ricardo Faes Vestergaard Doyle Ndidi/Casadei Winks KDH Fatawu Cannon Mavididi
-
Either Carvalho or Barco and we will have opposition fans absolutely disgusted.
-
He doesn't get that much so I can't see that having been the agreement 😂
-
Would rotate with Ndidi, KDH or Mavididi.
-
Southampton getting Manuel Benson from Burnley too.
-
This should be a number 1 priority.
