Jake Evans is better at RW than striker IMO.

We've lost a lot of incredibly important players at this club in recent years, this lad has the ingredients to give us something to hold on to. He's got it all.

Proper player at this level. 3 starts 2 goals and an assist already. So unlucky not to have at least 1 more goal as well.

Which if we don't I can't see how we go up, certainly not automatically. -

I'd also agree to a degree but he makes at least one major error a game. -

Best performance of the season. Still by no means a menacing and devastating force but the positivity in the 2nd half was improved. Even before the stupid penalty, on the back of a scrappy 10 min spell that they'd got on top, we were pushing and were so unlucky with that James shot. Anyway, the penalty mattered little in the end bar more evidence of why are we sacrificing the development of a major talent in Nelson or even Okoli for them pair. Winks and James were excellent, Monga was strong and full of swagger that a little bit of end product and would have been raved about. Still his best start of the 3-4 he's had this season. Carranza so badly needed to bury that, i feel that will be the moment we point to that typified his spell here. So important to get a win and not go 5 without one. Still so much work to do and decisions to be made by Marti but we're ticking over OK. For the love of whatever you identify with, spend the next 2 weeks practising fcukin set piece deliveries, it's embarrassing Leicester. BLUE ARMY -
Yeah i see that. The lack of communication will reach new levels of silence. Wouldn't be surprised to see Herhily get an even senior role at this club, strikes me as the sort Top would want around him. The fanbase has been fairly amicable with our board this season so far, wonder how quickly that changes given our half decent start is now looking very mediocre.

We've also proven that we tend to only keep them in the 1st team squad until they sign a pro deal, bar Monga. I don't blame him to keep his options open. -
I'm nit going to lie, the pulse is racing at a Reid and Ayew front two today. That said, I fancy Bobby bagging.

Close eyes on what happens now Susan has gone. Gut feeling suggests the pursuit of yet another gambling company will pick up pace. 😢 -
1st half I thought it was the best i'd seen from any of our strikers this season, he held the ball up on occasions but his pressing was the main difference. Still very loose in possession though. Look it's not ideal, it seems an appalling selection of attackers at our disposal subject to Carranza getting up to full fitness. Looks way off it to me so far in how he gets around the pitch. Also I recall we finally started putting more than 2 goals a game away for a good stretch of games when Daka started a flurry of games under Enzo two years ago, sadly after AFCON that evaporated but maybe we can get another short term burst from him.

The last 3-4 games he has or a fairly lengthy stoppage in game to be treated for a whack. -
Daka has to start as he's the only one who can press.

Is he any better than Evans? I don't think so. -

I think he can count himself unlucky not to have got a loan move, sort that might even have been good enough to go to Leuven. -
The image of Susan Whelan in the past offering a struggling player encouragement and advice lends itself more to an executive cutting about in a tracksuit than Jon Rudkin.

Genuinely not sure. What's most peculiar is, he was stalling on signing a pro deal, presumably like a few others as he assessed his options and pathway etc. The likes of Monga and Page have signed due to being shown what that looks like (although Page has quickly been demoted again). Evans remains unsigned from all accounts but Lorenz did sign a pro deal yet i'm amazed that would have been on the basis of him remaining for another year in the U18s. I don't see what else he's left to prove at that level? Last season he was very good, this season clearly far too good. Get him in to the U21s because if he excels there then given our appalling choice of first team strikers, he's got an opening there to try and seize. -
With Mavididi struggling this has got a Bobby LW and Ramsey in the 10 feel about it. Should be: Stolarczyk Ricardo Okoli Nelson Aluko Winks James Fatawu Bobby Monga Daka Will be: Stolarczyk Ricardo Faes Vestergaard Thomas Winks James Fatawu Ramsey Bobby Ayew

Looking forward to a Hutchinson hat-trick again this weekend for the U10s -

For all Enzo's criticisms of the slow and tactical system, it was structured in such a way that did lead to a decent amount of goal scoring chances from our most dangerous players. We don't have that currently. Marti is quite basic in what he is instilling here, or the players have not yet delivered on what his instructions are. Fatawu was constantly barked orders by Enzo and his staff and given specific instructions with minimal licence to do what he wanted. I think more of this needs to happen under Marti, especially as we don't have the box crashers creating space centrally for him to create havoc like Ndidi, KDH and Vardy used to do. No coincidence both he and Mavididi look devoid of much creativity and goal scoring threat themselves, it's all very turgid under Cifuentes.

And yet he'll probably try and do it from Thailand. The club already grinds to a halt when decisions need to be made as he has to sign off on everything from what I gather. Will be even worse now as he'll have to do plenty of the strategical leg work and have the clarity to ensure it is finalised. I'd take another relegation this season if it finally saw him selling up and leaving and taking that PE teacher with him.
