Controversially I think he's best as an impact player whilst the team is still figuring out how to function properly. Monga is not defensively strong and doesn't press well but he is so difficult to control against tired defences.

Agreed

But we are also playing long balls and doing nothing with it, they have had a lot of the ball in our final third so something different is occurring. If I didn't know we were winning that would be one of the most disgusting halves of football i've seen from us including last seasons debacle.
-
We are very limited in our play, really hope it's because we're a work in progress as this is revolting to watch.

I never knew that soured cream was just vinegar and salad cream?

See i'd argue thats too attacking for Cifuentes from the start so far. The #10 doesn't quite play that role at the minute, more of an 8 but fair point.
-
High time Soumare proved to be one of the best midfielders in the Championship, like Cifuentes thinks he is.
-
This is the scouting report on him from his breakout season under Marti before he left to come to QPR. https://medium.com/@TLFootball/player-report-jusef-erabi-f6df2eaccd7d

Page and Monga have only started when no other via senior option is available in that position. For Nelson he's got 3 other CBs to fight for two spots with. So far Cifuentes has only been a minor improvement on past managers for picking academy players but its very early days yet.

Ironically just signed up to the same agents as Cifuentes 😂 -
Alves was on the bench last weekend? I disagree on his best position, he's much more dangerous out wide. Lack of time and space on the ball centrally doesn't help him currently.

Defies logic he was OK to be in the PL match day squad but not in the Championship. Something doesn't add up. -
I wonder if this is gamesmanship from us and wanting Ivanovic.
-
Strange one, still massively well regarded in Swedish football but hasn't yet cemented this place as their main striker, he was arguably more reliable for them a year or two ago. Cifuentes brought him through though so could be the one to get that from him. You'll not be surprised to know I suggested him a good while ago.

I'm gonna see if O'Rourke will come on the podcast or at the very least come night fishing in the caravan with me. He sounds GREAT.
-
Plenty of us wanted him January 2024 when he was available for £2m and was the player we wanted Casadei to be.

Wonder if Cifuentes is proving to be easy to palm off on this, let's see how his demeanour changes over the coming months. -
Zero, Ayew isn't even a striker.
-
And the irony is, it's been reported before that we have had links to someone who was involved with Right to Dream in the past.

Didn't Mavididi score more than Soloman? Both are the sorts of player at this level that you know will win you matches, like Soloman, Stephy won us a lot of points with his goals and assists in important matches.

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)
Ric Flair replied to lcfc_forever's topic in Transfer Talk
I think the happy medium is £25m base with add ons and a decent sell on % Players like BEK will do the same each time they get a sniff of a bigger club and he's got massive potential. -

Leipzig and Stuttgart are going to be keen but still don't see any of them paying north of £30m. We are going to have to play this right. I don't think it's worth keeping him, i'd take anything about £25m.
