Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

That sort of price would get us Alvyn Sanches who is destined for big things. -
Based on the logic that if we have struggled to comply for 24/25 we will be asked to submit a business plan on how we will comply for 25/26 and if we can't then a transfer embargo will likely be handed down to us. I find it very hard to map out how we were told we had financial issues in 24/25, only to not sell any players before the end of June. So if we complied then great and hopefully limits any possibility we'll face troubles to do so for 25/26. Or if we have failed or it's touch and go then I foresee the EFL trying to hit us with an embargo.

This is not from any information I've been given, but based on some possibilities. We are being told we need to sell a significant amount of players, which is understandable given the size of the squad, the amount of players out of contract next summer and the drop in revenue from relegation. However the latter one is a potential problem for us to comply with PSR for 25/26, which if is a real risk we can also presume 24/25 was as well and yet we did not sell a player/s before the end of June in order to mitigate that. So my logic is, if we were OK for 24/25 without player sales in June, we ought to not face too big a headache for 25/26 with the sales we have had so far, the drop in wages and with a handful of other departures I'd expect at least an average Championship budget available. But we are being geared up for no transfer fees being paid out, which may suggest something. If we have indeed breached for 24/25 then we will also be asked to provide a business plan on how we will attempt to comply for 25/26 and if it is not abundantly clear then a transfer embargo will be applied, likely by the January window. That is then a slippery slope to be on. My other potential logical explanation for all of this is optics. We have been charged with a breach for 23/24. We have seemingly pissed both the PL and the EFL off in recent years and failing to submit our accounts on time has once again potentially aggravated this. So we are choosing now to go on the charm offensive. Point to minimal spending since the breach as evidence of the severity in which we are taking this situation and that we are proving it is impossible for clubs like us and the situation we ended up in.

There's a good chance this window is the last one we won't be under an embargo and won't be able to pay for any transfer fee for a while.

Stolarczyk came to us when he was 15/16.
-
We also have said there's add ons. Some are saying £18m + £3m in add ons, some reports £5m. But someone who is seldom ever wrong about us has said the up front fee is £18m.

Hopefully recording tomorrow night -
Our pressing vs Fiorentina was relentless. It requires Mavididi, Bilal and Fatawu to be non stop as Ayew cannot do it naturally.
-
Our team press is under serious risk if he is. Likewise if we lose El Khannouss then Cifuentes preferred style of play will be inhibited.
-
Reminded me of Ashley Barnes, it's a sorry sight of what we've become but he will be of use to us this season.
-
All I can say is from the selling side it's been said to be higher than that. Gamesmanship.
-
This is not accurate from a very good source. It's £18m up front.

Only reason we wouldn't do that is if we agreed to the overall outlay being more. -
Maresca didn't like us shooting from distance for a start. I like us mixing it up so I hope we do look to strike from range on occasions, although not sure we have too many with the prowess to score from there like we did with Maddison, Tielemans and Barnes. But we can only hope!

I'm in this weird mood where yesterday's outcome has potentially annoyed me more than some defeats in recent times have. The images of Vestergaard and Faes, hugely complicit in many things that are wrong with this football club, scoring the goals to get across the line against a team is utter disarray is galling. Many of us don't want to have to tolerate this lot again, nor do we accept this current ownership showing zero evidence of any tangible change. Cifuentes is not doing anything unreasonable in giving these a chance but it's so predictable that already a little bit of this new era excitement is wavering. He can quote all he likes about the past being the past with Faes but whilst he's supposedly taken the time to ask him what's happened he perhaps should have had the tact to understand why our fans might be feeling they way we're feeling. The faith in youth is very much yet to be proven as well, and until it is then my mood will unlikely change. The decline at this football club defies science, even more so that the root causes have remained untouched. Professors and pioneers would be left scratching their heads at that one. Bored of it all.

Quite possibly, but if that was the case then why on earth did we not strive to sell anyone before the end of June? I don't see how we complied with PSR for 24/25 only to be massively at risk of failing 25/26 without selling loads of players. We do have a massive squad so it's right to try and move many of them on, especially with 9 out of contract next summer and a horrible reputation for players leaving on a free here. But who knows. I do think we are deliberately trying to make it look like we are doing everything possible to cut costs and not spend as a defence for previous breach.

Probably to protect ourselves on having enough time to get a replacement before the end of the window. -
More potential evidence we are going to plead poverty as a defence for our PSR breach.
-
I would not be surprised if we point towards minimal transfer business for the last two windows as our defence for mitigating circumstances.
-
Sold Kelman for £3.5m to buy Kone for £4m 😂😂😂
-
He is the one player we must demand a ridiculous fee that is unlikely agreed to this summer. £45m

I am not interested in the current mindset of promotion above everything else. I understand the importance of ambition and to succeed but we aren't robust enough to achieve that in the current approach or framework. I'd rather see us rip it all up with the intention of doing it differently, even if it's a bigger risk we don't get promoted. The truth is I want change from top to bottom, including ownership and almost every single board member and senior director. I absolutely want almost every single first team player being gotten rid of. I don't support Leicester just to see them compete in the top division at all costs, genuinely doesn't bother me. If that's the end result, I don't want it. So I repeat, get rid of him, get rid of them all.
