I looked at Erabi a year ago and thought he was ideal as a project. Still not quite polished enough even at the level he's playing but theres a player there. Cifuentes brought him through at Hammarby.

I want to see our 3 behind the striker being relentless for 60 mins every week and then Alves, Monga, McAteer/Evans for example coming on and doing the same. If they maintain that level of intensity amongst them we will be a nightmare to deal with.

Yes he did. When he's like that from the off in games he's dynamite. You can usually tell within 5 mins what he's going to be like, Barnes was the same.

Mavididi, if he's anything like last season and the season in the Championship will have games or periods of form where he is way off it. He is another who sometimes is more dangerous coming on in games, so the way I see it is Monga will push him to maintain his form and there'll be times he's in over him and it's down to Stephy to bring the good stuff.

Those wages are absolute pony. However I think £15-20k a week for signings from lower leagues and European countries like Sweden etc at this level is reasonable.

Kone is likely on about £1,500 a week at the minute. Probably on the same deal as when he joined from nowhere 18 months ago. If we increase his wages by more than ten fold we are beyond daft.

Yeah they usually are, which is why some clubs often pay more to spread payment or load attainable add ons. Also this release clause will be due to relegation, unthinkable that we'd have put this in as standard.

Hamza Choudhury should be nowhere near consideration. He's half decent at this level but academy graduate aside, he is not suitable to be captain. Ricardo is the obvious choice if he stays and is fit. Struggling to think of who else. Winks would have been candidate but given recent issues and whether he'll remain here is debatable.
