  1. Do X 2 clubs qualify from the group?
  2. Ah I thought it was like the Scottish play-off finals wuth a home and away.
  3. I turned off at full-time. I thought it was two leg. How come it was at Charlton and not a neutral venue?
  4. The game should be postponed though. Not fair on Hull having to prepare for both teams at short notice, when both of the other teams can prepare solely for Hull. They deserve more prep. time.
  5. No excuse for our financial mismanagement, but annoying to hear today that the taxpayer will pay for a percentage of West Ham's stadium for next season when they go down.
  6. Do we know all these have definitely gone? I know their contracts have expired, and we have no money, but....it's Leicester we're talking about! None likely to be offered a contract? Has the club formally said thanks?
  7. Wetherby. Yes it's 70% Leeds, 10% Harrogate, 10% big six, 9.99% York, but there are at least two unconnected, unrelated, Leicester fan families in addition to mine. Up the Foxes! In reality big six is probably a higher percentage sadly 🙄
  8. Yes, we need to be able to sing "(insert surname) out." We don't want anything from the title win involving any of the players to go downhill, and ruin their legacy. Let's face it, it probably will go pear-shaped at Leicester, so let's not taint the legacy. It's why Shearer never took the job at Newcastle. In fact he did for a few games, but not enough to tarnish anything. We need to be able to hurl abuse.
  9. Has he gone then, now it's the end of the season, or is he contracted to a set date?
  10. So we'd have stayed up but for the points deduction. Edit: Bad as we've been, it will be a bit frustrating when PSR is scrapped, which it will be.
  11. I can't seem to find a list with odds that's consistent. I've seen a couple online, (which I won't name) and they differ greatly, and to the extent that they are meaningless. The favourite in one list, (Darren Ferguson) doesn't appear at all in the other, and neither list includes Gary Rowett. Surely he'd attract some odds. Personally, I think Mark Robbins would be a good appointment.
  12. Yes, I do agree with you. That's where my mind is at the moment.
  13. I'm still struggling with whether it would be the same club for me. If it happens, hopefully I'll sort it.
  14. I think I agree with you, but I'm not sure. Are you saying you could give backing to the idea of a phoenix club, or it just wouldn't be Leicester City and have the history that you associate with the club, and therefore it's a non-starter for you, i.e. rather support no-one than FC Leicester Rovers?
  15. It's difficult. I don't think we can bankrupt the club though. I don't have a suggestion.
  16. Let's go bust then, and have done with it. No more club. Watch snooker instead.
  17. I presume you mean knotweed, but, patronising. I've said I want the current regime gone. Not sure what else I can say. I am also happy to wear Leicester merch., stick my Leicester towel on my sunbed this summer etc. If you're too embarrassed to do that, I'm sorry for you.
  18. You're missing my original point. I was arguing against the fact that I was being told it was wrong to be in the club shop last night.
  19. I was using it as an example, donut.
  20. Wrong. I want him gone! However, now more than ever I want people to know I support Leicester, as I have done since '74. To pretend we don't exist until we're good again adds weight to those who think our support is made up of 2016 bandwaggon jumpers. The club is bigger than Top Rudkin, you and I.
  21. As per many/most of the squad, we can't afford to keep him.
  22. Nothing to do with money/cost. You're missing the point. It's about personal investment in the club you support, not financial investment. It's about still being passionate and proud to wear something with our name on it, (not Top's name). To be told it's wrong to be purchasing club merchandise is just wrong. In the process of purchasing, I'd rather it support the club financially than not, but as I say, it's not about money, it's about being criticised and frowned upon for wearing the club name and colours.
  23. You're not understanding, or I'm not explaining it very well. Never mind. Leave it at that.
  24. Still wouldn't stop the abuse for wearing it, and anyway I'd rather support LEICESTER CITY.
  25. I can't believe that some on this forum actually want to see the club go bust. I'm all for the peaceful protests, but it's still the club I support and have done for longer than I care to remember. To criticise fans for going in the club shop tonight is a difficult one for me. If that's seen as supporting Top and therefore inappropriate, I can't agree. My grandson wanting a bar scarf, like I had at his age, (and still have). I'm not explaining no to him. Let me know now if I'm going to be abused next season for being seen in the new shirt, so I can prepare myself. I want THIS club, not some tin pot phoenix club. Nah, too far!
