He left it far too late. 20 minutes to try and salvage an equaliser against a team that looked pretty average was poor negative tactics. Villa are not Man City

Hes not an attacking midfielder, its pretty simple 😂. He can still do a job defensively next to Skipp or Winks but any manager that thinks he has the skillset to be an advanced midfielder in the Prem needs to visit a Shrink

A lot more confident we can stay up from seeing some of our play at times in the game. However the manager has got to stop setting up a team to be so negative, especially at home. We are giving teams far too much respect that dont deserve it. We dont need to go hell for leather but have to have fast and creative players on the pitch to hurt the opposition when we break. Apart from Fatawu we had none of that today in the starting 11. They were there for the taking today and we made it far too easy for them defensively.

Agreed. I dont think any of our players were awful today. Just massively stifled by a defensive midfield and no pace up front

I could understand that team selection if it was Man City/Arsenal. At home to Villa is a game that we are more that capable of picking up points. Massive opportunity wasted with that negative team selection imo

Cooper starting 3 CDMs cost us that game. The fact that he waited until they scored their second goal instead of half time to change that was criminal. They were there for the taking as far as im concerned. Was not impressed with Villa in the slightest. Ive seen enough from this team to see that weve got a chance. Some of the selections however.. Seems to have a massive issue with Ricardo. Mcateer over him.. really? Okoli looked decent

Id rather look to the bench when we need attacking threat and have Reiss Nelson sat there over Bobby Reid, Jordon Ayew and Kasey McAteer that is for sure
