  1. Do you disagree with what I have said, just interested as to your thoughts?
  2. I would be interested as as to why you think he should still be in a job given the significant drop off over the last 3/4 years
  3. I am holding accountable for our PSR breaches, not sacking Rodgers early enough and for a football operations strategy that has delivered relegation with the most expensive squad to have ever been relegated. Or are our trying to tell me he is DoF and paid hundreds of thousands pounds and yet is accountable for nothing?
  4. He isnโ€™t the scapegoat but he is a massive part of the problem Just like Brendan wasnโ€™t solely responsible for our relegation, however he quite rightly lost his job for his part in our demise, however Rudkin continues to retain his role. Like Rodgers he should have been relieved of his duties, his ability to cling on to the bowl like a belligerent skid mark is more of a kick in the teeth and middle finger up to the fanbase, if Top had a set of bollocks he would have sacked him as well and if Rudkin had the best interests of the club at heart he would have stepped down or at least agreed to bring in someone else to freshen things up.
  5. Snap two miserable old moaners together ๐Ÿ˜‚ went out for Sunday lunch today and my lad said I had become too negative about LCFC think I have become Victor Meldrew ๐Ÿ˜‚
  6. Paves the way for us to buy Chris Wood or Awoyini
  7. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ great post and couldnโ€™t agree more, there is no way KP sack him but moving him away from his current role and bringing in an experienced operator at DoF and straight away the club improves massively.
  8. Couldnโ€™t agree more letโ€™s be honest had Spurs been able to finish then highly likely today we would be talking about a fairly lame 2-1 defeat following of the back of a bit of a drubbing at home to Spurs. The result and the improved performance for part of the 2nd half massively papered over some pretty alarming cracks that had been there throughout pre-season.
  9. The concern is the damage this will do, if the club are trying to flog him regardless of whether that is Rudkin driven or Manager driven, I canโ€™t see this ending well given Riccy is such a well respected and good pro. No doubt this is PSR driven but in reality another piss poor decision to protect the ineptitude of our incumbent DoF who is incapable of shifting our fringe players for sensible deals.
  10. Same here pal ๐Ÿ˜‚ too many people posting good stuff today
  11. He scored 3 in his first 2 starts then we played Cov away and Abdul got sent off and not sure he started another game despite Daka stinking the place out from Middlesbrough at home onwards.
  12. Possibly did cross my mind, maybe be could be the one who is shifted on loan for the season.
  13. Thanks for posting and great to get such an open and honest assessment. Personally I think it will be a disaster of an appointment and he will do well to make it to the January transfer window.
  14. If the interest in a new CB is genuine then maybe someone is potentially on their way out, and we have some options lined up as a replacement.
  15. Go on please spill the beans ๐Ÿ˜‚
  16. For some reason I have no reactions left so have to quote and applaud ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ good posts
  17. I wouldnโ€™t be shocked to see us move for Djed Spence given his history with Cooper
  18. Plus given his length of service he would be pure profit, I honestly can see this happening for something around ยฃ10m - ยฃ15m which the club could use to sign players for a combined value of ยฃ40-50m and with amortisation over 4/5 years would break even or book a small profit.
  19. Bravo ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
  20. I sincerely hope I am wrong but I have a horrible horrible feeling Riccy P is going to leave in the next week and this will be the replacement.
  21. Agreed ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
  22. Absolute madness he isnโ€™t getting game time, I wonder what some of the other senior players, especially the ones who have been in and around club last season and for a few years think of the current treatment of such a popular and respected member of the squad, I have a feeling this will be creating some tension and frustration, also the insistence on not starting Mavididi, it beggars belief. I have a horrible feeling Riccy could leave before next weekend and funds used to invest in players that fit his criteria. Massive red flag to me regards Cooper, his tactical ability and his judgement on players.
  23. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ couldnโ€™t agree more
  24. The appointment beggars belief, couldnโ€™t be further from what Enzo was building, we had a chance to attract a young upcoming manager with at least a coherent tactical plan, with a willingness to buy into our recruitment strategy and work with the players Glover and his team had identified, yes of course there would be tweaks, but with Cooper it seems to have completely derailed our summer and set us back big time. His desire for premier league experience has meant our recruitment has looked scattergun and not aligned, his style of play has led to players like Riccy P sidelined and I really cannot describe what our style is. 2nd half vs Spurs for 30 minutes we looked like a team who if we get in teams faces we can hurt them. However most concerning for me is that aside from those 30 or so minutes, including pre season we have looked timid, lacking energy and intensity and incapable of stringing 2 passes together. And this is with a squad who largely spent last season dictating games with 60-70% possession. The drop off in confidence and capability in such a short space of time is not only shocking itโ€™s bloody alarming as well. The promotion feel good factor should still be alive and well, we should be firing on all cylinders. Three halves out of four so far this season have been played as though it was February/March and we are playing with fear. He has installed this mentality and tactical approach and that is why I cannot see him being successful and why I was so against his appointment in the first place.
  25. I have to say , sadly I have reached that situation, I have not renewed my membership and I wlll not be attending any games this season until the either the regime wakes up, smells the coffee and make significant changes to how the club is managed and how it treats the fans, or until we have new ownership. It shouldnโ€™t have to come to this, but I can no longer support Rudkin and Top for their footballing decisions and as for the commercial strategy well again itโ€™s no longer something I can buy into. We are a mess.
