Marinakis. No debate whatsoever.

Micky Adams is probably in the top five best Leicester managers of my lifetime

Means we might actually eventually appoint Potter, it just won't be Graham Potter... -
Realistic Managerial Replacements
BenTheFox replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
Frank can still walk into a lower premier league job. My guess is he'll probably rock up at Forest by the end of the year. -
I drive to midweek games and often park around Tudor Road/Fosse Road North area. I got there around 18:20 and I couldn't believe how dead it was there and in all the surrounding areas as well as on my walk to the ground. Usually there's a queue to get onto Fosse Road North and people are normally fighting to get available parking spaces. I just drove up and parked yesterday. I walked to the ground and got there 20 minutes before kick off . I couldn't believe how few people there were outside the ground and at the turnstiles. It was surreal.

I completely agree. I did suggest this in the post, in fairness. -
This is the lowest I've felt as a Leicester fan and I am convinced that we've not hit rock bottom yet. However, there is hope that we will one day return to some level of respectability under a different ownership. I just wanted to give everyone a bit of optimism. Just a few relatively recent examples: - Seven or eight years ago Sunderland suffered back-to-back relegations and then went onto spend three seasons in league 1. They are now 11th in the premier league as a newly promoted team and the future looks bright. - Just four years ago, Derby County nearly went out of existence and are now knocking on the door of the play-offs. - Portsmouth plummeted down the leagues and very nearly went out of existence and despite taking a while to come back, are now likely to stay up again in the championship. - Coventry plummeted down the leagues, ended up playing home games in Northampton and Birmingham and could now get promoted to premier league (I know this makes it more painful). All of these clubs went through turmoil, were taken over and have eventually come out the other side. In the meantime the objective should be clear...Do everything we can to get the current ownership gone.

Exactly! Don't let perfect be the enemy of the good.

It was somewhat tongue in cheek. It's not just boomers that are the bootlickers either. A lad I went to school with, who has a Leicester YouTube channel and social nedia presence, is a staunch King Power defender.
-
Margaret Thatcher breaking the trade union movement in the 80s really did create a generation of bootlickers.

I'd give you a lift to and from each protest if you want mate. Strength in numbers.

Donated.

I get where you're coming from. I felt that way walking back to my car tonight after the game.

If we're lucky. This is going the way of Portsmouth and Cov all those years ago. We could easily drop to League 2, or worse, not have a club to support in a few years time. I really think it's that desperate.
-
Some people are more loyal to this ownership than they are their actual families, let alone the club. I'm not even exaggerating.
-
Right, no more pissing about, let's get something organised. In my opinion, a march to the ground and outside the players entrance with chants and banners. I have notice there are a lot of people on this forum that are highly critical of the board that don't attend games anymore. You wouldn't need a ticket to get involved and I'd highly encourage you to do so. This is bigger than just avoiding third tier relegation now. This is anout ensuring that we'll have a club to support in a few years time. Action is needed, no hesitation.

It will be such a liberating feeling the day he goes.

I would argue Aiyawatt has reached, or is close to reaching that point. Not through malice imo, but through incompetence. Call me naive if you like, but I would also argue that Leicester City is potentially an attractive prospect. We are a one club county based two hours from London with global name recognition, an impressive training ground and a stadium which can be expanded.
-
But that's the problem. It was only busy when the city or Tigers were at home. If you ever went in on a weeknight it was usually dead.

Mods, I have a polite request... can we please ban AI slop posting from this forum?

Jamaal Lascelles joins on deal until end of season - Official

The one positive from this is that we have a centre half who actually wants to do the dirty defensive work. -

Not that my approval matters, and this is something that won't happen, but if he were to resign as an admission of his own failings following our 6 point deduction, I'd actually gain some respect for him.
-
You cannot name 5 clubs within the 92 that are worse run than us, and that's being charitable.
