Pretty obvious Mads has called for it by his 'hands in head' reaction. He's not shy when it comes to bawling at defenders.
-
I wonder if your 'almost everyone' caveat might be the reason he's on the bench?

Floodlit?

... would be seven games more than 30. I said 'plenty' not lots. It is plenty. He's not had lots because he hasn't made a case for playing a lot, even in this doggo squad.
-
AFAICR he's played in all bar one of them. Hardly 'not getting a sniff'. Plenty of chances to impress, largely against tiring defences.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

You can ignore Ricardo and Ndidi from the line up, given how long they've been out. So... Justin/Coady/Thomas is puke. Winks/Woyo/Puke Ricardo replacement/Puke Ndidi replacement is puke. Bounanotte is puke in a dress. Assuming we're judging them with a football near them, I've forgotten what Vardy is. El Khanouss is indeed 'not awful', but has been giving awful a good go recently. Got a really good goalie though. -
Using the word 'criminal' makes it embarrassing. Given how crap Facundo's been since the first few games, it wasn't even particularly interesting.
-
Yep. The whole 'criminal he's not playing' stuff was embarrassing.
-
Yup. The only 'macro level' change is we look quite a bit less likely to score.

Have you watched these ****ers recently?

Whatever the perspective you are claiming, you're using events in the game (Vardy missing golden chances) to make your argument for Daka to have started. That is using hindsight. If you are going to use it, why not do so wrt to the QPR game? That seems like a much better fit for the 'did we really need to start Vardy' question than a potential season definer against Palace.
-
Going for this level of egregious hindsight palaver in order to have a pop at Ruud almost makes me want to defend the guy. Run that (Palace sitting back) game again with Vardy or Daka starting, say a dozen times, and I reckon Vardy gets more chances, and scores more goals. What do you think would happen? Anyways... surely a better attack line re RVN would be the simple one - he left a completely gassed (your call) player on for half an hour.

Buonanotte with his best Ayew impression. A squad with cover for every position
-
Yup. Been happening all second half. That and half hearted challenges and forgetting his man. Am I misremembering that tracking back was one of his strengths last season?

Better now π

ππ This is a somewhat circular argument, given you're the guy responsible for 50% of the posts singling him out. I don't think you made a single post about anything else. Bit weird.

Mavididi getting 6.2 for the same reason Stolarczyk got 6.3

In the first para you describe perfectly a comparison which should generate a 'meh' response. Not one that should leave me thinking picking one over the other is 'shit', or as others would have it, 'an outrage/unfathomable'. I have no particular issue with Daka starting - I'd love him to come good. But he in no way could be described as being 'in form' himself. I am not convinced he would be getting the chances Vardy has been (while conceding he can generate other, less noticeable, benefits). I am convinced that it's not a remotely bizarre call to think perhaps Patson Daka is not the solution to our inability to finish our chances.
-
Sure, Ayew in for "The Idea Of Buonanotte" would be shit. Ayew in for the falling over after running down a blind alley yet again ooh but he'll do something amazing soon I reckon like he did six games ago player Brighton were happy to loan us, one who is turning out to be exactly what Brighton fans said he would be, should by now just elicit a 'meh' response. As for replacing a badly out of form (finishing wise, but not in terms of actually getting into positions to finish) Vardy with one of our in form, dead-eyed dick options...which one should RVN turn to?

One for the "Vardy is 38/needs a rest" people... Can any of you explain the relevance of these comments being made in this specific thread?
