If he was good enough he would be playing - marti sees him every day - he has no reason not to play him if he is better or as good as the guys in the 11 - managers don’t get the luxury nowadays - they don’t have the time - they have to play the best team they have available and he quite simply obviously isnt as good as the others in his position- and if you say would would rather he was playing and the results were worse you are an ostrich

I don’t think you even need to bother with the stats - just use your eyes - we are absolutely bang average - that will be enough to beat plenty of teams in this league as the league is absolutely terrible - the lack of quality is there for everyone to see - we have some tidy footballers and I think the gaffer is doing just about par with what he has at his disposal - we shouldnt be anywhere near good enough to go up with what iv seen but like I said the opposition are also pretty rubbish - a left back , a proper number 10 and a striker and we would probably he promoted - but if my auntie had balls etc etc - enjoy the wins when we get them - hopefully watch us get a bit better the more time marti has with them but don’t expect miracles from this squad - dare I say try and enjoy whatever you can from a rather uneventful season

Yep agreed and if we had a decent left back and forward im more than confident he has seen enough of Thomas and daka/Ayew that he wouldn’t pick them either - unfortunately no choice till January - he seems to be getting 80% right and I’ll take that for now - results means everything- finding ways to win in this horrendous league will give him the time to hopefully get it right

I’m fully expecting the gaffer to keep seeing where the issues are Ricardo , faes and winks in for hamza , Okoli and skipp was 💯 correct im expecting kristenson in for Thomas and either carranza or daka for Ayew soumare will keep his place for now but every chance James takes it and Ramsey plays when back from suspension

Zero chance we finish top 2 with him as the starting striker - surely daka scores more goals if played for at least 70 mins every week - surely
