Hes okay and still young. My view is he still has potential to grow and be more than capable. Faes and Lurch are the past and they are the ones we should be focusing on shifting. They've not seen a clean sheet between them in nearly 5 bloody years!!!

Its a hollow victory. As its at odds with the performance and the trajectory of the club. We only win games due to standalone moments and the tardiness of the oppos in front of our goal. We dont win because our tactics, fight or motivation are developing. It was utter dross between the two (nice) goals. But that's Marti's vision for you.

He's always been lower championship/ Div 1 at best. The fact that he often plays as our skipper tells you everything about where we are as a club. I wanted him jettisoned years ago. Yet now the coaster is wearing the arm band 🫣

I have emailed Marti with explicit tactical instructuons for this eve. I have also included contingencies for diff scenarios depending on what unfolds. I expect him to translate these coherently to the squad and motivate them accordingly. Of course I haven't done any of the above, as that would just be common fecking sense for a proper manager.

In my view, there are two main facets to management. Tactical acumen and motivation/leadership. This fella possesses neither. I know we are scared of another management change. But seriously Marti's deficiencies are so glaring we have no choice. He will take us only one way. Yes the players are being @#££'s. But its evident they also have little faith in Marti

How at half time he didn't change the formation and strengthen an over run midfield is beyond me. You can play 8 forwards if you want Marti. But they'll be doing diddly squat if you can't win and then retain the ball. This is literally school boy stuff. You are either very thick or beyond stubborn. Both of which are dangerous traits so I'd rather you trot on. Thanks!

Not unbelievably bonkers. As Mavs is at least mobile and can trap a ball. But we will see if he can adapt to it. I remember thinking that Harvey Barnes should have been given a bit more of a go up top. Remember at some point in his past Theirry Henry was a winger. Ill give Mavs 20 mins to prove its genius.

When you see a philosophy, tactics, identity within the performance. You rightly hope to see it replicated again. Resulting in another 3 points. However as I have no idea how we win any matches. It's a bit ambitious to expect to see it again any time soon.

All the attacking lads, bar say Bobby, are greedy as feck. And regularly run possession into the oppos hands. They just dont link with others very well. Certainly not consistently. Mavs ignored runs by Thomas and Skipp multiple times last night. And the run 10 mins from the end with overlapping runners was beyond infuriating. Ignored them and ran into two CB. What a plonker!

He's limited, but a proper grafter. We play with two so called 'tricky' wingers and also Bobby in the hole. So Skipp rightly focuses on the dog work. Which he is generally tidy at. I do however agree that when time/space allows he should try and move it forward a bit more. Rather than routinely shuffling it lateral.
