I know people will rub their hands and jump on the anti Wout bandwagon. But remember the praise he got for Spurs performance. He's a capable defender that blows hot and could. With periodic brain farts. But you only sell if you need to or believe you have a better replacement???

This can go the other way. With the owning club taking a stance. They just want the right fee as they see it. But no one wants to be pushed. -
Agree. Thd stupid thing would be to sell him on for no profit. I think he's got a lot of ability if developed.

I've only seen highlights. But both Fulham goals came from bad defending in my eyes. Defenders getting pulled out of position. And the midfield cover (Fats 1st goal, Winks 2nd) not doing their roles. To me that's just football basics. And is about organisation and effort. If Cooper can get them better drilled, we stay in the game and then our more creative players have a chance to knick the points.

The curious case of Ricardo Pereira

Riccy is quality. And I'm convinced would enable us to use / retain the ball better. He's a good technician and very experienced. I'm not certain what would be his most ideal position in this Cooper set up. But he's got to be show horned into the starting 11 surely. -

Surely we aren't playing Ndidi as attacking? He's playing alongside Winks to add some physicality. This Genk lad is a legitimate attacking mid to challenge the Brighton fella. -

No way is anyone paying 13mil for a 33 Townsend. That's BS surely. -

Your kind of common sense is not needed here. The lads clearly a legend - get him in💪 -

Shinji is a great comparison. It's about the blend. How the parts come together. Not just individual pieces. -

This is so true. Just because you were on a big 6 clubs books seems to guarantee huge money. Regardless of any actual ability. Danny Ward anyone!!! -

Haha. I don't think Maresca has had time to be blamed for anything. That will come in due course. But the ownership / leadership of that club are off their nuts. Totally bonkers!! -

I hope this legendary work rate is more efficient than than the feckers trying to actually close the deal. I've accepted he's coming. But let's not drag it out like a major coup. We need Rudders energy elsewhere i.e. closing on a proper striker. -
Do we really wanting to be banging on about Wilfs relationship to HMRC? Every time you post on here and the thread moves up, it gets a tad excited. Shame on you all!!

I hear you. But people are minded that Vards is only one serious injury from game over for the season / career. So they are desperate for a forward signing that covers that catastrophe. Ayew isn't that. -
Jordan Ayew (interest confirmed by Percy)
Marshall Cockney Fox replied to iancognito's topic in Transfer Talk
I can only assume that will still happen. As Jordan can't possibly be Vards understudy. -

Yes it's short termism. But I suppose that's where we are at purely salvation and 17th place this season. The longer regeneration has to wait. So Cooper et al are working on what will achieve that solitary goal come June. Not pretty. Just pragmatic. . -

Clever signing. One for the future I'd say 🤔🤔🤔 -

No issue with the player at all. Just the budget / price we're spanking on it. Could that value be utilised better elsewhere?? Id like to think so. -

It's a weird recruitment strategy to paying proper dosh for a lad who must be on a short contract. But if they've given him a longer contract at his age - Christ they are off their heads!!!! It is surely the polar opposite of sensible business? -

Paying any meaningful fee at that age is bonkers. Spank that on a loan fee for someone awesome. -
That Kante fella was huge wasn't he.
-
Hopefully the start of his resurgence playing as a proper full back. If he can kick on again Then the thought of Fats and JJ sprinting full tilt up the right will put many a LB in real trouble.

Marshall Cockney Fox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I thought he was poor first half. But I can see he was working hard for the team in defence and going forward. He's no Fats. But work rate is important against good teams. I fully expect Mavididi to manoeuvre Bobby out in due course. -

Riccy will find his way into the team soon. Quality rises and also injuries happen. Once in the team he will then hopefully show what he offers to Cooper's vision.
