  1. Can't get my head round any company agreeing to print that banner on the left .
  2. I like the ones where a random youth team/ reservist is linked with Barcelona. πŸ˜…
  3. Good crowd at the Nomads yesterday.
  4. What a lot of fans are delighted with is not have boring bland players . You the type with no fight, the type that get you relegated. Maybe we can get rid of the fans with a similar character. We could actually have fans making an atmosphere and staying until the final whistle .
  5. Walkers head office where all the big money jobs are is in Reading. To be fair they are massively invest in the Leicester site and employ alot of people here . But I don't see why they can't move the head office here.
  6. Oh don't get me wrong I think they'll have plenty of concerts and shows . But will try and push for large conferences to keep the money coming in.
  7. I get what you're saying regarding the areana . But I was under the impression they were more looking at the large conference market than concerts and shows. This would certainly take up more days and sell hotel rooms over the year . If you coupled that with the odd band/ sports event. The trouble with the council is they are very small minded. Anyone wanting to build over 10 stories gets hammered to reduce it . They act like Leicester is a small town ! https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/news/leicester-news/fresh-bid-replace-leicester-matalan-8955203
  8. You missed the old " Millwall brick " my older brother used to try and hit me with it as a kid.πŸ˜…
  9. Think you're right the building at the end was a Pub/hotel but I can't remember the name.
  10. Didn't we play Bournemouth 3 years in a row ? Seemed like it anyway.
  11. Thing is its basically always been the South Stand upper tier MK 2 .
  12. Surprisingly few people leaving early compared to City games . Considering the crowd contained more kids and non locals than normal .
  13. So how do you even talk about making crack cocanie then .
  14. I genuinely believe the fans are still about to make a noise and happily join in with the Tifo . But after the move from Fibert Street. The new Kop was half filled with the South Stand dullards .Even at the Old ground you would get the odd song out of the East stand and lower members/main stand but never them up there. I've sat in most areas of the ground and there's always the old koppites dotted around trying to sing, add to that SK1,L1 and P blocks . If only there was somewhere we all could sit/ stand make an atmosphere and happily join in with Tifos
  15. " PLEAT OUT "
  16. what you've never had chapped lips at the football .
  17. You can see how this must have mentally worn opposition out . It's no wonder we can really turn the screw in most games in the last 20 minutes with quality players and fresh legs .
  18. I remember in the 90s feeling like the 80s was Naff . The fashion, hair and music, crap . Now I like most of the 80s style, well apart from the hair .
  19. Agreed, the ideal scenario is UFS get a section behind the goal and the people that like to do a little goading etc in sections nearer to the away fans . Again almost exactly what happened at Filbert Street when away fans had Pen 1 and we had 2,3 and 4 .
  20. There in lies the problem, imagine if everyone that liked to sing gathered in one place πŸ™„ It could have its own special name and I'd imagine would be really loud .πŸ˜… Heaven forbid even better with unreserved seating .!
  21. Hate bringing up the " good old days " but the whole seating and standing areas seemed to really work . As it naturally separated people into the areas more likely to create an atmosphere and those that don't. Bit like when you move ground and mix a quieter area with a noiser area and call it the KOP .
  22. What ? Most 5-10 year old love a good atmosphere it's probably what they enjoy the most . I remember my daughters 1st game V West Ham, she was getting really annoyed that the Leicester fans weren't singing as much as the Hammers fans .πŸ˜…
