I learned something new today, as you see a lot of Wyverns around Leicester and found out about it…. The Wyvern was the crest of Thomas Crouchback, more commonly referred to as Thomas of Lancaster, who lived in the early fourteenth century and was a powerful earl of five cities including Leicester. You can see the Wyvern all over Leicester on roof tops, carved into walls, on weather vanes, and atop wrought iron gates I walked past this house on East Avenue Clarendon Park

I was with my son at Wembley…. The FA cup still means plenty to lots of people…. We can’t deny that some of the lustre has gone, but as a competition it has the power to create amazing moments that could only ever happen in an open knock out cup…. It will always remain very special to me

This is what I used for Roman blinds…. You need them and an E1 zigbee hub for app access…. Optional button if you want control away from the app for multiple blinds…. Moving away from phones…. I’ve automated a lot of my blinds and windows…. A game changer Roman blinds in the front room open at sunrise and close at sunset using an electric motor you place the beaded chain into…. Genius! My 3 Velux in the kitchen have a solar powered opener (can be retrofitted to any Velux window) and open at the touch of a button or when my plugged CO monitor declares that it’s stuffy…. Rain sensors close them when it’s raining…. Magic!

My bill with EE for four of us is about £50 including European roaming…. to get the latest phone on a single sim is about £80! No thanks…. I’ve brought my phone outright for years…
