When you're playing a Moyes team , you have to do the basics and match their effort levels. We haven't and that's why we're getting thrashed

I doubt Max and Paddy will let me in

Yes because there's so many clubs run with clean moneyπ We've got a team with a very questionable betting company logo on the front of the shirt. Bedford went years without a football team after Charles Wells took back the land the ground was on. They restarted on park pitches with people going around collecting money in a bucket and after getting a ground outside the town , it's just been a bit shit and has been going nowhere for years. I know the owner, quite a decent bloke and wants to do something for the town , which was always rugby , so I'll go when I can't get to Leicester games for my footy fix. Don't forget to brush your teeth afterwards if you pop down and join me π

Same as you mate π ST for 15 years but had one before that until my children arrived , then it was difficult to go to Leicester all day leaving them with mum , after being at work all weekπ Always thought I travelled a distance but fair play to all those that really do travel a long wayπππ Like you, I've become disillusioned with Leicester and footy in general, so I might go a bit more local from next year, but I've been saying that for a few years nowπ Bedford, soon to be Real Bedford have got a lot going for them tbh, with the Bitcoin wealth behind them

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

Wasn't that his job , seeing he was working for the selling club? -
Although I ended up disliking both and both tenures ended badly , we played some very decent stuff under Puel and Rodgers. Think that's very unfair tbh
-
They may have had 0 shots on target but they were cutting through us at will , but were wasteful with their efforts or final ball. We weren't defensively solid at all
-
So, let me get this straight A lot of our players would quite comfortably fit in a lot of Premier club's squads, but are lacking quality and the new players aren't a lot better than we already had. All we need then, is some mid-table clubs to be actively looking for low quality, highly paid players , that they'll take off our hands , so we can start our rebuild. Let's hope John's phone rings a fair bit this week, thenπ
-
How people thought we're a comfortable mid table squad , is beyond me. I can't think of too many players , after Mads, that would even get on the bench of sides in the bottom half.
-
The bloke next to me in the Kop got told off by the lady in front of him , that he was clapping too loudly. In my nearly 50 years of watching football, this is definitely a 1st, so there's a new experience for meπ Modern football and fans π©ππ

Worst defence we have had in the pl

I've always been surprised that we never do the warm up drills at the start of the 2nd half. They just walked out onto the pitch, and maybe this is one of the reasons we get caught out so early in the half and give ourselves a more difficult task. It also can prevent injuries -
LCFC 0-2 Palace,post match thread
Weller Wing replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
This is why Everton always stay up They're constantly shit , but there's always 3 teams even more shit. Palace looked like a premier side tonight even though they weren't great. We just haven't got the quality to even make a fight of it -
Still think he'd be better if he wasn't so isolated. The fact he's still got so much enthusiasm and aggression and players like Mavididi stroll around without putting anywhere near the same effort in , is embarrassing and shows how poor our recruitment has been for so long
-
Hate them but they're a decent side. Fast, fit and strong. Keeper played really well but as Liverpool upped it, they stayed strong and still gave Liverpool enough to worry about on the counter. They won't win the title but a very good night for them considering other results. Difficult game for me as probably the 2 of the 3 clubs I hate the most ( Chelsea)
-
πππ Not forgetting the half time lot. I went for p#ss right on the half time whistle at the Man City game and the concourse was rammed as I went down the stairs in the Kop

Hoping we can create an atmosphere similar to this, tomorrow nightπ€π

Yes that's true I think that horrendous run of 1-0 away defeats to clubs with squads far weaker than ours , soured things a bit. We did play some very good stuff 1st half of the season until sides sussed us π
-
Maresca was frustrating, as that team should have brushed aside most of the championship but only just got over the line. I never knew he hated us with a passion, is this a fact or just your opinion? It's not a Dyche love-in from me , but I respect what he's done during his career and its without argument that he's good at keeping teams up , even if it's not entertaining. I can't say I've been very entertained this season and would kill for a couple of boring 0-0 away results , instead of the shitshows weve witnessed π
-
Don't know how old you are , but we had a manager (Irish) in the late 90's that used to go on about how we couldn't compete with the big clubs and had to scrap for every point, which annoyed many opposition fans. We did this amazingly well, with bargain players and journeymen, that did a fantastic job , fought really hard and we were pretty much in every game , until the final whistle, whoever the opposition was.
-
I would have taken boring football for a couple of seasons if it meant we could establish ourselves as a bottom half Premier team. Dyche, for a short period, could have stabilised us , and that's what we've needed since Brendan. We're probably going down and unlikely to be at the top table for a while and losing our best young talents as soon as they come through , or even before as has been discussed. I don't particularly mind the bloke , I don't like his brand of football, but he's been the type of manager we've needed during this rough time that looks to be getting worse. I hope things work out for Ruud, and I will support him ( apart from the Wolves game) but I'd have Dyche as his replacement, if things didn't work out , whilst we get some kind of competent leadership from above.

If the goalkeeping coach is called Jelle , you'd think he'd teach Ward how to set himself

I wouldn't play Ward as he'd then be cup-tied and it might scupper a big money January transfer
