Doubt we’ll keep a clean sheet, too many individual errors, usually JJ or Faes, but now winks has joined in. Means we have to score at least 2 to win this “must win” match.

It’s behind a paywall and I can’t be arsed to subscribe for the trial, but it is becoming more and more obvious that we are all being brainwashed in bullshit. Our views used to be shaped to some degree by media, but mostly by our own experiences and those of our friends and family. I don’t believe that anyone can keep a truly balanced or objective point of view in this environment. No idea how this will ever be fixed, and we’re all just ultimately fodder for rich an powerful who are able to manipulate these things.

I think we’re defending well, whilst not offering much threat forward. Passing not perfect but improving under RVN. Overall Villa probably slightly better, but not much in it. I’d be happy with a draw but can’t see it finishing 0 - 0, which means we have to score.

Western democracies need to find a way to claw back the wealth that has been perversely accumulated by billionaires. Nothing against people get rich but billionaires have too much power and megalomaniac narcissists like Musk will undoubtedly destroy democracy. I fear it is probably already too late, they are just too powerful to be brought under any kind of democratic control.

I suspect that Vardy has obviously lost a yard of pace, though still quick, and this means he’s more tempted to go a bit too early leading to the offsides.

Very encouraging for the second half of the season. I hope that what I’m seeing is RVN starting to realise his best lineup and managing to get a tune out of them. That plus some players striking better form and others finding their feet at this level. We deserved a point today at least. The difference was in the quality of their final move/finish.

Despite them struggling I expect we’ll get beat up again. How long are Ndidi and Vardy out for?

Commendable first half but much more passive in the second. Stolarczyk a massive improvement on Ward. Obviously a better result than most would have expected, so perhaps bit of hope left for staying up.
