  1. I've made an achievement today, I've finally been able to listen to some music. I'm obviously a long way from being able to listen to anything remotely meaningful, or relatable to Ellis, but we live in a Spanish holiday resort, and the Spanish keep playing the same dance track which I really like. I found it today, and the only sadness that comes with it is that I would have sent it to Ellis warning him he'd be hearing it in every club here over the summer, but hey, small wins. And he'd probably think it's shit The lyrics are pretty meaningful, I didn't know that before I translated them though! If I look hard enough I can attach a meaning to everything, and I'm trying hard not to do that. It's been nice to finally listen to something though. It's here, the original and the remix which is the one which has gone viral apparently, and is being played everywhere here, just in case anyone is interested...
  2. Agreed, find him safe and well and he's on a Ryanair flight back home for under 30 quid most likely if he's not too choosy about luggage and times. Read the SM stuff though, and some of it does seem too detailed to not be legit, and it seems 30k has been cited as the amount owing to the drug lords he was allegedly working for. Obviously it's awful for his family if they genuinely don't know where he is, but his mum doesn't seem that bothered really, she's definitely giving Karen Matthews vibes about the whole thing, it's just weird.
  3. I think I'm pretty decided I'm going to use the Swap My Vote this time. If I vote Lib Dem or Green in O&W it's a wasted vote, so hopefully I can swap with someone in another constituency where it will make a difference, presumably whoever will swap with me will want me to vote Labour for them. Win win really.
  4. Very envious, they are one of my favourite bands. Dave Grohl is second only to Nigel Pearson in men I would leave my husband in a heartbeat for, too.

  14. MΓΏ husband has done this and says it was great. Much easier than selling your own house, no pressure to move on a certain date once the completion goes through as nobody is moving in to your current house on the same date, and no stress of a chain falling apart. If there's anything you want me to ask him let me know

  18. Agreed, it's only the middle of June and we already need the air con on at night, we don't usually need it until next month. 33 here today, 40 when we got in the car, summer has definitely arrived early this year

  23. They have, but doesn't the boundary change mean we've just encompassed more of an area that one would assume would be typically Tory? I've only ever voted from Wigston in the Harborough constituency, and it's always been a safe Tory seat I'm still not convinced that all these historically Conservative voters are suddenly going to go red...
