The point of my previous post was we played well against Leeds. We should have gone two up and they were offering nothing. My point stands, as if we had played that well yesterday we would have won.

Don’t really see the point of this as we obviously didn’t play as well yesterday as we did against Leeds?

I’ve moved to Retford from my beloved Leicester I was born and lived in for 45 years, and the Asda here is SHITE. The “fresh” stuff is a joke and the choice of dried/canned/chilled stuff is pathetic. I try and get as much stuff as possible from smaller shops or the market.

Trust me I’m aware of the risks. I just have this feeling it will happen anyway and history will (at some point in the future) show we left it too long. We are now two years in, two years of Putin digging in mentally, dealing with dissent, upping the propoganda. Pot commitment if you will. A short sharp shock the moment Russia invaded may turn out to have been the best option.

I wasn’t, and I am not even close to being an expert. It was the organised violence in the World Cup that made me realise what may happen. It pointed to a certain mindset. NATO never should have pulled out of Ukraine when Russia was amassing forces. It showed weakness, and people like Putin love to see that. Again, I’m not an expert, but part of me feels that we should just go in and liberate Ukraine - the full force of NATO would make short work of it. We seem to be inevitably heading towards something worse than that.

And we had a perfectly good goal disallowed, which would have put us 0-2 up against the new team. Away. Your point?

Care to explain why we can’t discount the last 15 minutes of our match but you can discount an entire 5 games at the start of the season?
