Question for you - if we perform as well as we did last night for every remaining game, and don’t get any perfectly good goals ruled out, do you think we go up automatically?

I’m still waiting to wake up from my pre-Kick off nap. Starting to get concerned.

Robbed. And didn’t take our chances. No other complaints.

Works fine for me. -
Can’t we get the ball and then stand around it in a circle for the whole game?
-
That’s a lovely piece of information.

Don’t you mean the pre-match Enzo talk?

Depends if the plan is one that considers multiple scenarios. If it is, you only need one.

I was there - I’d been shouting so much I lost my voice for a few days 🤣

Kinda dreading this a bit. Sometimes I wish I didn’t care as much, as I know it’s irrational, but the emotional delta between winning and losing this one is going to be massive.

I drove right past Elland Road this morning. Despite never having attempted it before, I did my best to put a curse on the place with an evil stare and a dismissive side glance as I wheeled off for my roundabout exit.

I’d like to see this on the movie poster.

Was going to say hub caps by the side of the road but I’ve just seen one.

A good, positive post. And I hope your garage refit is going well.

Quite enjoying Sexy Beast on Paramount+ - prequel to the film of the same name. Lots of psychopathic cockney gangster action, but so far it seems to be attempting to go a bit deeper than your usual psychopathic cockney gangster-based stuff.

It’s embarrassing being a City fan at times. I’m glad there’s only a handful of fans of other clubs on here. We’ve had a ridiculously amazing journey with this club, stuff that 99.9% of football fans globally could only ever dream about. We’ve actually won stuff, big stuff, with some incredible, legendary players, all with the added bonus of having done it from the position of underdog. We are top of our division, ten points clear, which instantly and totally invalidates any argument about how we play. How people can complain now I have no idea. Late-stage BR was the time for that. Football is a sport, sport is about being competitive. I’m miserable when we lose and ecstatic when we win, so I’m a huge fan of Enzo because he’s made me happy a lot this season. It’s that simple for me. Winning is the entertainment, and if I want some guaranteed entertainment I’ll stick a film on or listen to some music.

Just give the win to West Brom. Would be hilarious.

Wrong, at least for the majority of the adults in his life - I can’t speak for the ones on his dads side as I don’t know them and aren’t with them when they have the lad. And by the way, he’s happy, talkative, confident and doing well at school. He’s just not into anything that doesn’t involve a screen.

Commentator just called Ipswich the “Championship pace setters”.

I’m not sure if kids “play” any more in the sense that I did when I was young. I live with an 8 year old and he plays the odd board game with us but other than that it’s TV, YouTube and video games (and not even that much of that). He plays football but no other outdoor activities at all. He can’t even ride a bike and isn’t interested in learning. I used to be out playing non-stop, and if I wasn’t I was playing, drawing, building models etc. All about them screens these days. I spend my spare time more productively than he does, despite having way less than him and being 50 years old. I think it’s a shame.

I saw a standup routine once - can’t remember who it was - and he said something along the lines of “some musicians, like Neil Young and Bob Dylan sing, play guitar and have a harmonica around they’re necks, and people call them geniuses. But if you make one small addition and strap some cymbals to your knees? You’re a nutter.”
