All great points but the one in bold is crucial. This is the bad thing about the Leicester half as it starts downhill so you think you are flying and can keep this pace up. 20 mins later if your not careful you have had it!!

How did you get this resolved? Interesting to find out as I was very surprised by what you said initially. I have an ST and my 25 year old daughter is a member. I rang the club on Friday for a ticket for my 10 year old and was told I had to get him registered and I could get a ticket for him. Literally completed in 5 minutes. Excellent customer service from them. Hence I'm very surprised by your situation?

At my age I'm just happy to get sub 1 hour. If the HM guy had passed me up New Walk then I would seriously have considered jumping on his back!! Worst thing for me ever was being overtaken by a bloke dressed as a fecking washing machine!!!

Had a house off Narborough Rd, Nearer to the Tesco garage part, Dumbleton Avenue about 25 years ago and would frequently venture to the main drag of Narborough Rd to get snacks, amenities etc and feel fine. I would NEVER venture alone there now. It's like a 3rd World Eastern European country. Evington Rd is also the pits and was lovely 25-30 years .
