Ricky was one of our best CMs last season, but for whatever reason he's on the bench and we've paid £25M for a new CM.
-
Great, he'll come in handy next season
-
-
Would've been ok for the same fee as Winks, but 20-25M is horrendous business. When you factor in that we've broken PSR rules and are likely to do it again this season, this is harakiri.

I've got little sympathy for Cooper. We're a shit show behind the scenes, but he's taken this onto the pitch. Our most gifted technical player in Ricky P is under used, coupled with a few mins for our young players. All of this, whilst rotating between Winks, Ndidi, Hamza and Soumare (who doesn't even want to play for us, even though we're forking out 80k per week on him). Cooper was brought here with one eye on next season, when we'll be playing in the Championship. Top and Rudkin gave this season up a while back.

Hypothetical New Ownership- Who Would You Like?

Donald Trump, Make Leicester Great Again. -
It's too late to hit the panic button. The club's rotten top to bottom. I'm expecting relegation and a long stay in the championship.
-
That would be a blessing in disguise.
-
Get this twat gone for whatever we get, otherwise he's only going to end up walking away for free.
-
This is a Cooper signing. He's been crying for weeks that he needs PL experience players, even though he won't play our 2 most experienced players in Vesty and Ricky P. 💩 player for a 💩 club.
-
We've resembling the Forest team that got promoted day by day. Everybody was blaming the owner, but was it really Cooper pressuring him for more and more signings?
-
I dont think you can blame Vichai for our ridiculous wage bill. As a comparison in 2018, when he died, our wage bill was around the same as West Ham. By 2023 ours had ballooned to 206M compared to 136M for West Ham. There has been massive financial mismanagement since Top took over, and he along with Whelan and Rudkin, are responsible for it.

Competition: How many shots will we have against Tottenham?
sm1 replied to Mark's topic in Leicester City Forum
1 shot, none on target. -
Sorry to say, but Top is ruining his dad's legacy. We've gone from one of the best run clubs to an absolute shambles, since Top has taken charge. When we get relegated this season, we could end up like Portsmouth, with multiple relegations. The worse thing is we'll still have fans telling us how great Top and Rudkin are.
-
His running stats put Kante to shame. 15M seems cheap, but if he wants to go, then what can we do. .
-
He's another one who's destined to be loaned out like Slimani and Praet, and then walk away for free. I can't believe we actually saw him play and then signed him.

Saturday 3 August v FC Augsburg pre-season friendly
sm1 replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
He can try one of the young lads, Alves or Golding. If they aren't given an opportunity now, when are they? Playing Mavididi in CM is not an issue, if we have someone else who can do what he can on the wing, but we don't. So we lose both ways, no creativity on the wing or in CM. Today on paper he played as a LW, but in reality VK was pushed up to a LW and Mavididi played inside him, this nullified his strength of running at players. I just expected Cooper to have already picked up on that. -

As others have said, the results dont matter, but the performance and Cooper's muddled thinking does. He's nullified one of our main attacking outlets by moving Mavidi into a crowded CM where he's half the player he is on the wing. To compound that he'd rather play Ndidi as a CAM, then either Alves or Golding. If these guys dont get game time in meaningless friendlies, when are they. I was quite positive when Cooper took over, but that's eroding work by week. -
Finishing bottom. The only hope is we dont break Derby's record of lowest points total.

RIP Shakey, a Leicester legend.
-
In a word yes. If we get Jordan Ayew, you know the club have accepted relegation. Compare our signings to say Ipswich, who seem to have a definite plan. That Soule agent was right, we're clueless.
-
WTF, is this guy a peadophile.
-
That's because they seen him play.
-
Yeah but why go for him when we can get 30 something Jordan Ayew, who scores about 4 goals a season.
