  1. WOYO MAN! DO YOU WAN SUM BLOW??!!
  2. I think it was before the game. Southend and we were 0-3 down at half time.
  3. He’s not particularly quick, skilful, strong or good in the air and doesn’t particularly influence a game enough to be (IMO) considered anything other than an average striker. I know penalties are still goals, but they’re not an indicator to use in the scenario we’re talking about so you really do need to take them out and when you do, again, average. He may well get better and strikers generally peak in their late 20’s but we can’t be saying lets have him hanging around in case he gets better and we might be in a different league. The only player in the 40 years i’ve been watching Leicester that was ropey to start with and then came good when we kept the faith was Vardy, and he’s an exception to practically every football rule. Cannon isn’t a Vardy, he’s more a not so good Nugent.
  4. We all love to bash the club at the minute but this appears to be one of the rare occasions they’re doing the right thing. He’s an unknown quantity that may or may not turn out to be more than what he looks like now. A bang average Championship striker. If we’re going to stand any chance of staying up, we need reinforcements and that costs money. We’ve been on the brink of PSR and if we do stay in the league (like we all want), we can’t afford to be subject of another breach and this kind of sale eases the worry. If we do go down, he might be useful, but then again, he might not. He’s certainly not shown anywhere near the kind of promise that would have us sounding the ‘keep at all costs’ alarm. Too many times we keep players hanging around on the chance they might come good and then they enter the final year of their deal and get nothing. To get £7m would be a good bit of business.
  5. No but if he says, ‘we want a right back’ and we dont get one, its not exactly the best boost for whoever currently has the gig.
  6. What year are you living in?? £3m is a nominal fee GRANDAD.
  7. Yes and he’s been gash whilst playing in a very poor standard of football.
  8. Well he’d try but he’d probably fall over.
  9. God if KDH and Pot Pot Ding Ding revitalise West Ham whilst we continue to flounder it’s gonna be so hard to take.
  10. Fvcking love JJ. The anticipation there was just phenomenal.
  11. How many streak freezes have you used though?? Dont fVck!ng lie to meh
  12. I know and don't disagree with the 'square pegs, round holes' objections but having said that, I would have KDH in a DM role over Soumare any day of the fookin year. Soumare is a bit better than he has been, but the bar was set very fookin low.
  13. What so we should just play northern teams all the time 😂😂😂?? Honestly the people on this forum sometimes. 😜😜
  14. Plenty were saying to cash in on Vardy after the great escape season.
  15. Since King Power bought the club, they’ve been very clear that they dont play the media game and they have rarely commented on anything. That works until there’s problems and then some fans do get tetchy but there is an unfortunate truth that as fans we don’t want to face. You can go to every game, home and away. Kit yourself and family out in Fox & Crop or replica kits. Wear a watch from the club shop and only ever take a drink from a Leicester mug or water bottle. As a fan, you could sell a kidney to fund some corporate hospitality or dinner every day in the club restaurant. You can do all of this but you’d still be entitlted to dick. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero. It feels wrong as we dedicate our lives to the club and the irrational emotional attachment, draws the best and worst out of us and whilst we might not admit it, can shape our mood for days, weeks, months on end. But we’re entitled to nothing and if the club choose to keep us in the dark, that’s just our tough shit. Like others have said, i’m not sure any communication would ever be enough but as the dial is currently set to zero, all we can do is sit, wait and hope that any news is good news.
  16. FFS another one we've missed out on.
  17. If there’s a chance to sell him, we need to take it. His value is only going to go down when people realise he’s rubbish so get what you can now.
  18. The tactics and set up were fine and the execution was decent. Created a couple of openings that Bilal should really have done better in the first half and Mavididi should have scored in the second. Regardless of this, we can’t carry on with games on such fine margins with the squad we have. We’re relying on basically scoring every chance we create whilst at the same time, hoping someone (Justin) doesn’t have a brain fart moment. Neither of these things are likely to happen as it stands. Desperately need quality additions but given where we are, cannot see them materialising.
  19. Lost us the game. Idiot.
  20. Everyone will be eating their words once Ayew wins that first free kick.
  21. Jordan Ayew Jordan Ayew Jordan, Jordan Ayew He gets the ball and scores a goal Jordan, Jordan Ayew
  22. Italy are gash now so that means nuffink.
