Plenty were saying to cash in on Vardy after the great escape season. -
Since King Power bought the club, they’ve been very clear that they dont play the media game and they have rarely commented on anything. That works until there’s problems and then some fans do get tetchy but there is an unfortunate truth that as fans we don’t want to face. You can go to every game, home and away. Kit yourself and family out in Fox & Crop or replica kits. Wear a watch from the club shop and only ever take a drink from a Leicester mug or water bottle. As a fan, you could sell a kidney to fund some corporate hospitality or dinner every day in the club restaurant. You can do all of this but you’d still be entitlted to dick. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero. It feels wrong as we dedicate our lives to the club and the irrational emotional attachment, draws the best and worst out of us and whilst we might not admit it, can shape our mood for days, weeks, months on end. But we’re entitled to nothing and if the club choose to keep us in the dark, that’s just our tough shit. Like others have said, i’m not sure any communication would ever be enough but as the dial is currently set to zero, all we can do is sit, wait and hope that any news is good news.

FFS another one we've missed out on.

If there’s a chance to sell him, we need to take it. His value is only going to go down when people realise he’s rubbish so get what you can now. -
Villa away (Post match) 2-1 loss
Realist Guy In The Room replied to jim5000's topic in Leicester City Forum
The tactics and set up were fine and the execution was decent. Created a couple of openings that Bilal should really have done better in the first half and Mavididi should have scored in the second. Regardless of this, we can’t carry on with games on such fine margins with the squad we have. We’re relying on basically scoring every chance we create whilst at the same time, hoping someone (Justin) doesn’t have a brain fart moment. Neither of these things are likely to happen as it stands. Desperately need quality additions but given where we are, cannot see them materialising. -
Lost us the game. Idiot.

Everyone will be eating their words once Ayew wins that first free kick. -

Jordan Ayew Jordan Ayew Jordan, Jordan Ayew He gets the ball and scores a goal Jordan, Jordan Ayew -
Italy are gash now so that means nuffink.
-
Based on that video, he’d be absolute gash.
-
Yup. Always banging on about it being Wellens fault and claiming Kermo was decent.
-
This but i’d play Ayew up top instead of Vards. He’d hold the ball up better than Vards.

No

Christ on a bike. This is literally a deal that Rudders would get done in about 2 minutes. No fuss, no drama, no last minute hitches. Crap.

Because Iverson doesn’t have the entire fanbase on his back. In fact, quite a lot of fans seem to still think Iverson has some quality. RVN seems to realise this and fingers crossed, Ward will never be seen again.

Liverpool 3-1 LCFC, post match thread
Realist Guy In The Room replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
It is what it is. We are so far short of quality, this is pretty much all we’ll muster more often than not. Every one of their subs walks into our team but not one of our starting 11 would make their bench. Buonanotte is technically our best player, however I think tonight kind of showed why he hasn’t been starting. Pretty much gave the ball away every time he got it whereas Bilal was decent. I can’t see anything other than relegation at this point. The squad is shite and we wont be able to sign enough players to make a difference. -

Maybe he isn’t fully fit? Although if that were the case, he would have said. Personally, I think he only wants to play one of Bilal or Buonanotte as they both give the ball away shitloads and he prefers Bilal. -

Yeah I did address the Buonanotte selection :- I might be guilty of cutting him too much slack here but I can see the reason for not playing him, especially if he's going to be sent back in January. He and Bilal are very similar so if you only want to play one, it should be the player we actually own. On the rare occasion they've been on the pitch at the same time, it really doesn't work -

It’s weird but coaches all seem to know each other in the most unexpected way. I remember a weird scenario where I think it was Phil Parkinson saying he could ring Jose Mourinho for advice whenever he wanted as they met at a Uefa course and basically fell in love. -
This is pretty much where I sit on Faes. If he's the only liability in the team, we could afford to carry him as his other attributes can be helpful. However, if Ward, Justin, Skipp, Ayew are in the 11, no way.
-
If there was the slightest chance we could get Maguire back, we shouldn't hesitate for a second. But there isn't the slightest chance. Close thread.

It wasn't great against Wolves but lets be honest, if Mads plays we dont lose that game. Cooper wasn't the right fit to begin with and the speed at which he changed us into a steaming pile of turd was ridiculously alarming so he quite rightly was shown the door. Has RVN done enough in his career so far to get a management job at a relegation threatened premier league team? Yes. Let's stop thinking we're something we're not. It is odd that he hasn't brought in any backroom staff of his own yet so i'm expecting that to change. Because he's a 'name', he'll get more slack than Cooper but that won't last forever. I think he's genuinely surprised at just how bad the squad is and how much work it needs. Quite a few of our players are underperforming and I think the introduction of a fresh face or two will shoot them into life, however we need to face facts. The squad is terrible and with the exception of playing Buonanotte (I might be guilty of cutting him too much slack here but I can see the reason for not playing him, especially if he's going to be sent back in January. He and Bilal are very similar so if you only want to play one, it should be the player we actually own. On the rare occasion they've been on the pitch at the same time, it really doesn't work.), there really wasn't a whole lot different he could have done on Sunday (and whilst the 'played well' line doesn't wash, Vards had 3 decent chances on Sunday that if one had gone in, especially the first one on one he tried to lift over the keeper, the game is completely different). With any new manager that comes in mid season, I do think before anyone spills their flange juice they need to be given a transfer window. It's really only then you get a true idea of what a manager is capable of brining to the table. Thankfully we don't have to wait that long. This isn't to say I don't have my reservations. I was hoping to see more of a reaction from the players but quite a few of them are really struggling for any kind of form. Skipp and Justin in particular really look clueless. Is that down to the manager? Not completely but he needs to find a way of getting more out of the players we have as we know from how the January window works, we're not likely to be adding any more than 3 players max.
