Completely forgot they had him. There was another black dude up front now I’m thinking about it. LACAZETTE!!!

So who did set off the pyro? Come on, own up!!

This. It feels like they haven't had an actual striker since Giroud left.

We’ve got 1 squad space free - who are you signing?

I think it’s ok as long as they were a free agent during the window. -
Look he works hard and does some stuff ok, but the fact is, when you have a side like ours that doesn’t exactly piss goals, you need your striker to be a threat. He doesn’t ever, EVER look like scoring.

Yeah it's a shame that some just can't make the step when they look so promising.

Maybe, just maybe, Alves hasn't recovered particularly well from injury and isn't where we all want him to be.

Championship 2025/26 Season

They got lucky with the Enzo appointment. This time we’ll be proper fabucked as pretty much every manager around will know they’ll be bullshitted. We’ll end up in a Holloway situation. I fully expect us to get relegated to League 1 within 3 seasons and I think we’ll stay there for a while. -
Yes and no. Should Top be at Seagrave personally negotiating transfer deals? Absolutely not. He’s not Milan Mandric. Would it be helpful if he was here breathing down the necks of those whose responsibility it is to get deals done? I actually think it would. It looks like he doesn’t really give a shit and if the guy at the top (OOOOOOH PUN MEH) isn’t perceived to particularly care, it’s not overly surprising that those below him follow suit.

I was happy to sell Cannon on the proviso it provided funds for reinforcements to help stay up. If it’s happened because they’re in PSR shit AGAIN then they simply need to leave the club. It’s actually quite disgusting how they’re operating.

This is pretty unreal. There is literally no positive spin that can be put on this.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

Clearly been stitched up and I don’t think anyone at all would blame him if he walked away. But as others have said, doing it to 2 clubs in a row probably isn’t gonna help him long-term. I can actually see him staying until the end of the season, then walking away and taking shots at the board. That would actually show him in quite a good light. It really does go to show the absolute calamity that is happening at board level. From the second Enzo left, they’ve been winging it. Granted, him leaving wasn’t expected and they weren’t expecting to make a managerial appointment for a couple of years, but my God, Cooper!! Now Ruud!! It’s so sad that the legacy of King power ownership that should’ve been enshrined forever as a positive memory in the clubs history, is inevitably going to come to an end in the darkest possible way. -

This. I remember Micky Adams saying something after an away draw and was asked the question was he happy with a point. He answered something along the lines of, 'Why the hell would I be happy with a point when we needed 3?' Need to show the same courage we showed against Spurs and get after them. They've had a couple of good results but they're still fragile.
