Have grown to like Maddison over the last 18 months… but really he has conned Southgate to taking him to the WC…At our expense… he was never going to be fit, ever… 6 weeks later, as a club, we don comical.. we don’t even know what the injury is.. very amateur…..

A knee injury that doesn’t really seem to have got any better since early November.. if you remember, he was only taken off as a precaution (which we knew was more tbh)

What a nightmare that has been getting tickets.. so I have now got 2 tickets for a friend.. it can be mobile ticket only the seats are in sk4 (I’m in sk1) can I transfer the mobile tickets somehow to his phone ? otherwise, he will have to take my phone in with him ?

Any ideas if many tickets are left for this please ? trying to get 2 but can’t until tomorrow as I’m season ticket holder

Can’t comment too much on yesterdays performance as wasn’t there.. it was only last week though that he still had his old bad habits… taking too many touches in possession and failing to track runners.. has looked better than he was overall… but let’s be honest, he couldn’t get much worse..

Rarely have I seen a player control the ball with his foot on top of the ball rather than his instep. To then have to do a rollover to get the ball from under his feet.. by which time, as showed on a couple of occasions yesterday he gets dispossessed… looked tidy enough when we were knocking it around one touch but his lack of awareness around him is still alarming and should be a natural instinct..

Difficult one to assess.. Success to an extent with euro football x 2 and the Fa cup win.. Cracks were already there though as early as 19/20 when we bottled the CL spot.. Got fed up of people saying well just be grateful for any kind of European football.. with the CL carrot dangling we couldn’t raise our game and something didn’t seem right back then… we repeated this the following season… Cracks were there. style of football was easy to play against and we could not break teams down.. 18 Months on we still have this Puel style mind numbing football and we end up where we are..
