Chilwell went on loan to Huddersfield.. friends of mine that are Huddersfield fans said chilwell was brilliant and would play for England..

Reality is, we need to focus on what we have with us… sick of all these links of players that we know we have no chance of buying as we’re skint until we sell.. CDK we were never getting with No Europe. the players on our books that we need to get rid of are nowhere near leaving us, no credible links.. so if they go, late in the window what chance do we have to replace them ? If we have a list of potentials, the chances are they will already be snapped up by other clubs.. if we keep our stars,,players stay fit which is crucial this season then I see us possibly having a flirt with EL and finishing 7-10th

Last seasons business was woeful though. we have had some gems from the foreign leagues, but also plenty of expensive flops that will go down as our worst signings in history…. Slimani, Musa, Silva without even thinking..

And they more than likely will.. it just seems that a PL and Fa Cup winning team is skint and can’t do any business.

CL football wins all day long.. plenty of fans last season saying they did t want us in Europe (EL) as it meant Thursday Sunday football.. well our failure to get into a European competition pretty much means we are where we are.. failing it seems to not only buy players but pretty much even attract any names.. it seems a real struggle for us to ship players out also. All in all it seems a bit of a mess so far and we go into our preseason with no new faces and players that we don’t even want.. frustrating even more, is the fact that newly promoted clubs are happily doing what looks like some decent business..

Any one ever thought that it’s our slow build up that actually allows the opposition low block in the first place ? we had many opportunities last season to attack with pace when an opposition attack broke down but we were happy to keep possession rather than attack with any purpose.. more forward minded players is what we need in midfield /RW

How do we get the fixtures on our calendar ? Or is it through the website ?

LCFC will be adrift of other teams in the transfer market…. other teams always manage to get transfers done… Our excuses are usually players are on holiday after a busy season..

Villa are getting business done early which shows it’s possible.. I just see that we labour in the market, excuses of player holidays, nations league games, agents etc and we end up slow to sign any targets that we may have.. it’s obvious where we need strengthening and has been for 12 months +

No Europe , we can trim the squad down a little.. get rid of some of our dross , Vestergaard, Hamza, Bertrand, Perez etc sell Youri and Tielemans Bring 4/5 in that will be starters…not squad players…and add a couple extra of our talented youth players..

Thanks for this… feel like I’m in a lose lose position though.. watched us win the league from my seat, and get on great with the people around us. if I stay, it means I won’t be able to get a match day ticket (as all seats will be season ticket holders) for my young son who has just began to get interested after going to the Norwich game..
