Still frustrates the hell out of me us bottling CL x 2. I said things wernt right back then and got shot down by plenty of fans.. we are just one massive mess and I just can’t wait for the season to end and don’t even care what league we are in next season.

The mentality of the club has changed in the last 2/3 years.. we had 5th placed finishes that should have been CL .. yet we were told we ought to be happy with that.. plenty fans said the same also.. we bottled 4th place two years running. since then, we have had 6/7 gave spells that have got us out of trouble in the league. The alarm bells have been there though.. no identity, no freshness in our play. defensive frailties that haven’t been addressed. we now find ourself firmly in the shit. I don’t see a way out of it if I’m honest. we don’t know what goes on behind the scenes but there’s obviously no money there…A PL club without money is really a championship club..

There isnt one.. it’s a negative line up that looks like it ought to match Newcastle for work rate. reality is though, we can’t get near them. outnumbering us down the flanks. it’s just a case of when they score isn’t it..

Update on tickets in diff part of ground Seems that turnstiles 13-24 is all the same concourse ? And I can get my mate in with me in sk1 and he can then wander down to sk4. anyone confirm this ?

Just watched the game back in full.. looked like a PL game against lower positioned opposition where they drop deep and ask the question are you good enough to break us down ? despite the 1-0 win,the answer was pretty much no.. Mcateer looked raw but direct when given the chance.. Brunt just didnt seem suited to the role.. barely looked to link with MA or get beyond him.. Endless crosses from deep just not effective either

Just when you said he had looked crap when you had seen him play… assumed a stoke fan as the only time he’s really been seen was at the WC and he certainly wasn’t poor there

A great few years it was too.. we return to the LCFC rollercoaster yo yo team between divisions I imagine..

It’s the fact we know we’re desperate for signings.. (as do other clubs unfortunately) things take time is all we hear.. surely we scout these players for months in advance and can put things in place.. things change also…and I think our main struggle is Leicester isn’t attractive to anyone..

We need 4/5 in like asap..we know it won’t happen.. 1 loan and 1 perm signing I imagine.. underwhelming no doubt also.. let’s be honest, we’re skint and will be falling way behind even the mid to lower table teams in the transfer market.. it’s disappointing but we have reached our peak.. Avoiding relegation will be a major achievement. I am not sure thy this current squad has that fight needed though..

Mad to think that during our PL winning season, we barely had an injury.. the last 2/3 years we have more injured than fit… something isn’t right somewhere

We are a championship team… If we got as many as 5/6 players in during the Jan window, it wouldn’t be enough.. BR was correct in the summer, we needed fresh faces.. take Maddison Youri and Faes out of that squad…not many teams would be queuing up to take any of our players

Boga and Keane are really the only credible links… poor ones at that too.. they may boost our squad but certainly not our starting 11. finances no doubt still dictate our ability to spend £25/30m on a player so basement signings it is..

He very rarely is..that’s how bad he is.. another real uninspiring potential signing.. hard to get excited anymore by any of the players linked and the poor windows we have had recently..

Was a breath of fresh air when introduced into the team. Unfortunately he has stagnated and gets more credit than he should at times due to the fact he’s a local lad etc.. Does not get enough goals for the position he plays

And that’s it really.. he isnt good/dominant at any one thing.. he lacks awareness which is the most important thing for a DM He doesn’t move the ball quick enough He doesnt use his size to out muscle players.. I hope we don’t see him again in a LCFC shirt tbh..
