Saying that, I always have a TV series or scrolling news on while I’m writing - but if it’s something important rather than filler I’ll have music instead.

Ours can’t even watch a film without having a device on the go. It doesn’t help them focus, it facilitates procrastination.

Think everyone is struggling to cope to a lesser or greater extent thanks to the diabolical state of the country, nationally and locally. We could all use a small dollop of hope for the future imo.
