  1. Me? It’s the scientists that messed up there…but don’t they always, huh?!? They were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.
  2. Why stop there with your flight of fancy? Why not ask what I’d do if scientists created cloned dinosaurs and imprinted them with lefty CND brains and gave them loudhailers? What about supervillains shooting eye laser beams at a bus full of learning disabled children on my drive because they had an Israeli flag? No, what about space Islamists shooting death rays at my house while I was hosting a baking party for paraplegic children?
  3. Great advert for Delta and the Amsterdam screening ”Philip Schotte, a Netherlands native who lives in Iowa, told local news Fox 2 that he saw at least a dozen maggots falling on a woman mid-flight.” https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/feb/15/delta-flight-maggots
  4. Our coke and 10-pin nights are the stuff of legend.
  5. Which just goes to show how precious little you know about me and who I have in my address book.

Is it too late for chaos with Ed Miliband?
  8. Who knows, I certainly don't. Is it poor form? Sure. It's not anything I would ever see myself as being part of but, being mindful of the Tory attacks on the right to protest that have already stepped way over the mark, I don't see it as justification for the further curtailing on civil liberties.
  9. You are still failing to address that nothing illegal happened and no arrests were made - or the logical fallacy of your argument to ban legal activity. I think I'm done at this point.

  11. A) and? B) You don’t like people behaving within the law therefore you want the right to protest curbed even further by alluding to a fictional yet unexplained event at an undetermined point in the future. This is not the basis for sound policy.
  12. The Marvels may have been short but it didn’t feel it. By Christ that was some shit. Which is a shame as the first ten minutes or so was OK, making me think it wouldn’t be another tedious film involving Cap’n Marvel. “Boss, we were thinking, girls love song and dance routines in Disney Princess films, so we reckon we should have one of those …” ”Hey, great idea. Then have a fight scene with only ten people on either side - and make it look like a pillow fight in a bedroom.” Just awful.
  13. I loved the kids to the cinema stage; a guaranteed uninterrupted 90 minute kip. I’ve been badgering them for grandkids.
  14. And yet I can’t remember you saying anything about Cambodia or Maghreb. Does that make you Islamophobic?
  15. Was the law broken? No? There’s your answer. 12,300 children dead. Personally, I find that 12,300 times more repugnant and unacceptable than any legal protest.

  17. Sir, the “Things you no longer see” thread is over there —->
  18. My kids have told me to forget about it and get another puppy.
  19. Should think so too. Waterborne diseases coming from the shit that’s in them now.
  20. Don’t tell me it’s maple syrup
  21. Happy Valentine’s Wednesday Roses are red Violets are blue...
  22. Timeline? I’m not saying he could have ordered them to park a jet up and give the bloke a lift. The point is that the UK is in terminal decline due to Tory underfunding and squandered revenue, leading to premature and avoidable death, and yet that **** can’t use a train because he sees himself as too important.
  23. Someone introduces religion to my meal time
