I'm too in tents

I think that’s because there’s a growing recognition that it is absolutely happening…unless the club invents another marketing company with no clients or history again.

It's a fop to distract people.

Any other words people need clearing up while I'm coming over all Susie Dent?

*tosh It isn't, it's fact.

No. It was marque, as in a signing of marque. It was something of note and repute, a signing which made a statement. People who can't read properly pronounced it marquee - and now attempt to explain it's because it's like some kind of big top signing. Which is moronic, but this transformation of the language took place and has become entrenched. And it pisses the fvck out of me.

There's never a day goes by when I don't want to hurl something at my computer when I read "marquee signing" instead of "marque signing". The fact that it is now accepted form with sports journalists just serves to piss me off even more.

I’ve tried Google Translate - nothing.

Drop in the ocean though if it only removes one or two per season.

It's a problem, we all know it's swamped the game. Is it worth this? Is it going to solve anything? Nah. Surely we have to start looking at the UK's approach to drugs rather than this wasteful 'war against' kinda actions? Have we not learned that clampdowns and prohibitions don't work yet? https://www.thetimes.com/article/d0c09e5b-8a9b-4378-a59b-4b4c57aea8fd?shareToken=ea61fec1a0cc735c395c8ae9b5f3ad5b

Unless the club is bought out by a consortium that includes an ex-player or two and a local celebrity/tycoon, there will never be an ownership of the club that gives a fvck about fans…outside of a reset brought about by drastically reduced ticket sales. I keep banging on about it, but boycotting is the only way to bring about meaningful change. That or armed revolution, and I don’t think any of us want to be the one to put down Cousin Dennis.

It was inevitable the second Cooper was given the nod because Potter sacked them off.
