  1. Why on earth are some fans joining forces with Cooper and doubting him as a starter? I don't get it. He started virtually every game under Maresca after breaking into the side and was one of our most exciting and productive players in winning promotion. Hence the popular 'Fa-Ta-Wu' singalong - and the permanent contract. He has to start v Forest. End of.
  2. What exactly did Winks say?
  3. Cooper finally beginning to acknowledge that logic, reason and the bleedin’ obvious are better than his way (whatever that is) cannot be used in his defence. But at least it’s a positive start.
  4. It’s happy ending moments like those that make all the pain and suffering worthwhile. God, that felt so good!
  5. So obvious, isn’t it?
  6. How bad does Justin have to be before he gets dropped? Wouldn’t be surprised if Ricardo is leading the “Cooper out” chants in the second half
  7. What’s new?
  8. Surely there is not one fan left who is prepared to give Cooper the benefit of the doubt after that shambles. Generosity of spirit can only go so far.
  9. Cooper saying he watched all our games from last season is the same level of BS as the FA saying they interviewed “approximately ten”candidates for the England job.
  10. Ayew protected the ball well today. While others kept giving it away, he worked really hard to keep it.
  11. Oh dear. Vardy had a bad game. But Edouard was truly horrific. No wonder those Palace fans were so keen to get shot of him.
  12. A winning goal of sublime class. The way he dropped the shoulder to fool the defender into thinking he was going outside before cutting on to his left was so so good. And then came the unstoppable finish. It’s superior talent like that which wins you games in the Premier League. And we’ll need more of the same to survive because Cooper’s indecipherable tactics, hideously bad in-game management and incessant caution are seemingly incurable handicaps that we can only hope to counterbalance with moments of individual brilliance to get the wins we need. Not dissimilar from Southgate’s England at Euro 2024.
  13. How many of us are going today a) fervently hoping for (rather than expecting) a win but b) secretly thinking that a defeat today and a place in the relegation zone might not be a bad thing in the long run if it means our mind-bogglingly clueless manager getting the boot during the international break? Obviously the second option requires Top et al to grow some balls and do the right thing - and of course you never want to see your team lose, especially at home. But…
  14. When the leopard won’t change its spots, get rid of the leopard.
  15. It is obvious to me that what this group of players desperately need is a manager who commands their respect and makes them want to play for him. It is equally obvious that Cooper will never be that person. Get rid of him now.
  16. Anyone can talk a good game. Action not (empty) words, please.
  17. To borrow the immortal phrase, he cannot be serious.
  18. That was not a team, that was a collection of players that an inept, uninspiring manager threw together without anything remotely resembling a strategy or plan in the hope that they might be good enough individually to beat a League Two team. At least that’s how it looked to me.
  19. … or other choice words to that effect.
  20. It’s a no brainer. We are going nowhere with this incompetent eyesore in charge.
  21. I think it’s time we gave Danny Ward a break. Cooper not so much.
  22. That’s an hour gone without a threat on their goal
  23. Cooper’s halftime team talk obviously hit the spot
  24. Whoops. I knew it was even worse than I thought!
