Because it’s all part of the fabric of football fandom. We all want what’s best for the club because it plays such an important role in our lives… but inevitably we see things from different viewpoints. That’s the fun of having forums like this. Also, why do some people equate criticism - even constructive criticism - with ‘moaning’? Or even worse with ‘entitlement’ or ‘hate’? The stock in trade of some posters on here - one in particular - is to routinely and condescendingly have a go at others who dare to criticise - be it the team, the manager, certain players etc. - as if to criticise makes their support somehow unworthy or inferior. Praise without the counterbalance of criticism (or a good moan, if you like) should be reserved for the official club website.

EFL Champions 3 - 0 Preston North End post-match thread

A great performance to seal the title. One of the most dominant all season. Perfect. Thanks, lads. -
What Have You Enjoyed Most About This Season?
Hammo replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
Being able to celebrate goals spontaneously and fully without worrying about a killjoy VAR check. Winning lots of games and being top of the table. Fatawu - our most exciting right winger since Mahrez. Love his enthusiasm too. And more than anything else of course… The happy ending. -
Beat Preston. Or Blackburn. Or get two draws. And we are champions. Or if Cov beat Ipswich.
-
Ipswich the better side. Leeds fans will be tearing their hair out. Again.
-
We screwed up a huge lead and lost our way big time with those three successive away defeats. We were definitely bottlers then. But we aren’t now because we have won promotion after Leeds and Ipswich both decided to give us a helping hand and we took advantage with two massive home wins. We will need more steely leadership and dogged resistance such as Hamza and Jamie have shown of late when we get to the Premier League. In the cold light of day after the euphoria of last night I still think we are too much of a soft touch.

Credit where credit is due. He got us promoted. Sure, it would have been a disaster if he hadn’t after that brilliant start. But he did. So, congratulations, Enzo. Enjoy your moment.

What a performance by QPR. Thank you. Anxiety over. We are Premier League. Wooooooooo!!! Get in!!!!!
-
What Leicester fan in their right mind would not want promotion wrapped up as soon as possible? Imagine Leeds are losing at QPR and attacking in stoppage time. Are there Leicester fans who would actually want them to equalise to delay promotion until Monday - even though we have lost our last three away games and that is far from guaranteed? Surely not.

I hope the amount of good fortune we had against West Brom is not needed again tonight, otherwise it will be another agonising watch. It’s about time this team got their act together and finally gave us a rousing performance to remember. Surely they can raise their game for this one…

Thank you UFS for providing a rallying point for understandably outraged LCFC fans with this profound and perfectly-worded statement that the Club - yes, even this Club and the bunch of misguided corporate numbskulls who run it - simply cannot ignore. That £25 'loyalty tax' - or extortion, call it what you will - must never be allowed to come to pass.

2024/25 Season Tickets: Renewal Dates & Prices Confirmed
Hammo replied to Ian Nacho's topic in Leicester City Forum
To charge £25 for a season card is exploitation bordering on extortion. Whoever it was at the club made this decision should be named and shamed. I just hope they read - or are made aware of - the disgust on here and have a very restless night's sleep. -

Semantics, fair enough - but the point still stands. -

Agreed, but the 'no apparent reason' is so that they can monitor and control us. They can't do that with a card. Hence the outrageous deterrent of a £25 premium. -

Haha. You think they couldn't have kept the current one active like they have in previous seasons? Wake up. -

Not only do they piss on the fans - they want them to open their mouths as well. £25 for the privilege of using a card that we already have, the alternative being to have your every move digitally monitored and exploited. It's an outrage. -
I’m going to swim against the tribal tide here but that was bloody impressive from Coventry. Wish we played with that speed and intensity

Fair comment

The goalline clearances were brilliant. No one can deny that. But a number of his tackles were needed as a recovery tool after he had been caught on the wrong side in a 50-50 through poor positioning or had given the ball away. I feel bad for pointing this out though because we would not have won the game without him, and I wish his energy would rub off on some of the others in the team - Ndidi being a prime example.

Are you saying if you can’t beat them join them? Because this reads like the moaniest moan of the lot.
-
Let’s hope we don’t

Olsson in the 2-2 draw at home to West Brom. Deflected shot from Drinkwater to make it 1-1 after 30 minutes. That was the only one.
