Harsh on Southampton

PM me please
-
First goal is on Vestegaard - doesn’t attack the ball and lets it run through. Second goal is on JJ - you don’t let that ball run across you when you are on the edge of your own box. Third goal the defending is poor again but Ward should definitely do better with the save. I don’t rate Ward but the pile on against him is a joke. None of the back 4 are good enough and offer little protection, Ayew’s performance was a disgrace yesterday and none of them are getting anywhere near the same criticism.

After 2 or 3 for this if anyone has any available
-
Might as well get in early whilst the mood is low - can anyone sort 3 tickets for this one? Won’t let a poor football team get in the way of an away day!
-
I’m really happy to be honest…that my season ticket application was unsuccessful
-
Not sure how people are saying Vardy had a stinker? Granted he didn’t do a lot, but that’s because the style of play doesn’t suit him rather than him having a bad game. A ‘stinker’ would be if he’d had numerous chances and missed them all. That being said Iheanacho suits the style of play much better and should definitely start the majority of games. Vestergaard did well, he obviously won’t play when Coady is fit but he’s more than capable in this league. Winks was brilliant and if it weren’t for KDH’s heroics he’d have been MOTM. Hermansen looks good, Maresca clearly wants a keeper that can use his feet and he’s got just that. Need another winger, Mavididi grew into the game but I don’t think McAteer is ready to be a starter yet. Ndidi did ok, but think if/when Casadei comes he’ll be dropped to the bench. Good win, enjoyed watching us today and hopefully bodes for a successful season ahead.
-
Cant see him going anywhere and I wouldn’t want him to either. I think he will be valuable next season, even if not a starter every week.
-
A good deal all round - best of luck to him but more importantly we can use the money on a couple of quality additions
-
Exactly this! A team low on confidence that needs their fanbase to back them - go 2-1 down and all they can see is their ‘fans’ flood out of the stadium with 5 mins still left to play and only a goal in it. Baffling.
-
A terrible Villa side? They have won 5 of their last 6 games

KO’d? For stating I’d rather have our current ownership than someone such as Mike Ashley or maybe even worse. Someone has already stated the other clubs that have accepted new owners into the club and learnt the hard way and still languish in the lower leagues. You may disagree with some decisions that have been made by the ownership, but can you honestly say that you don’t think have the clubs best interests at heart?
-
I don’t think the formation/team needs much change, the players just need to play with some belief which hopefully Sadler and Stowell /the new manager will bring. As much as he is hit and miss, Barnes has to play based on his numbers alone. Would like to see Cags back involved, clearly a better defender than Amartey and I would argue possibly Faes.
-
Why is being careful what you wish for ‘nonsense’? Do you want the current ownership to leave? Would you prefer Mike Ashley to the current ownership? Everything can be improved on, but are things really that bad that the whole club needs restructuring?! Don’t be so dramatic.
-
No you don’t have to have done it, but some of the opinions of people discussing it are plain stupid. Vichai and Top have delivered unbelievable things for this club and city in general. As soon as things aren’t nice and rosey, ‘fans’ are saying that Top needs to sell up and move on. Things can always be improved and perhaps the roles of Rudkin etc need to be reviewed but to suggest KP need to sell up and move on is ridiculous.
-
Funny how everyone KNOWS what Vichai would have done and that Top isn’t up to it. How many of you have worked for the club at board level during King Power ownership? He kept a manager longer than you would have liked and suddenly everything he has done for the club goes out the window and he needs to sell up. Absolutely embarrassing. For the record, I agree Rodgers needed to go but calling out Top isn’t the way to go. I hear Mike Ashley is available…

Looking for two for this if anyone can’t make it - thought I’d get in there early. -
Good god people actually criticising the ownership, get in the bin. No pleasing some people, let’s get Mike Ashley shall we.
-
Glad you have managed to get sorted. That’s not a bad price and sadly I am not at all surprised at some of the fees you were quoted! Of course if there are any issues you want assistance with the offer remains open, just PM me (as long as I haven’t taken Brendan’s job by then!)
-
Hi @Raj Sorry for your loss. I know I am a bit late to this post but I am an IFA so if you are struggling with any of the IHT or financial aspects then I would be happy to help - providing you haven’t already sorted it yourself. Also important to add I wouldn’t be looking for any remuneration for this, just happy to help out a fellow fox in a time of need. If you want to take me up on my offer, send me a PM. Cheers

Still available? -
Does anyone here actually want him to turn things around and see us succeed again or are you all so intent that he leaves regardless? I’m on the fence myself, would love to see us best Villa on Saturday and then go on a run from there. I do also question some of the decisions he has made (such as Ndidi CB and leaving out KDH on Sunday) but ultimately I don’t know who we would get as a replacement. We have managed two 5th place finishes and one 8th place finish plus an FA Cup win with largely the same group of players and manager so the talent is clearly there, we’re just going through a (really) bad spell. I haven’t known our fan base to turn on a manager like this other than Puel (who I agree definitely had to go). Whilst he is still in charge, surely we need to get behind him and the team rather than potentially looking at organising a banner to hound him out? Not looking for any angry reactions either, just generally intrigued.
