  1. Boring and negative set up. Yawn.
  2. Apparrantly the land lord of a pub named The Howard, has advertised on Leicester City Facebook pages that away fans are welcome there. States is opposite to the train station and 10 minutes from the ground. Don't know anything further so can't say if it's good or bad or 10 minutes by foot or 10 minutes by bullet train! Anyone got any other ideas of watering holes?
  3. He's not been off form, our first two games have been against tough opposition whereby he has been isolated upfront due to defensive tactics - both leading to a point. Saturday will be his first game where he has support against lesser opposition - in fact, it may remind him of his Fleetwood days and go on to bag 4.
  4. Bet they suddenly gained a few thousand "life long supporters" coincidently having been promoted...
  5. ..I didn't want to be the first to ask..
  6. Very nice, thanks. Although I am sure plenty of date changes are to follow thanks to Sky.
  7. I have considered it but that's just because mines absolutely massive.
  8. Dean Smith at Villa.
  9. That's a difficult one, but if I can't phone a friend, I'm going to opt for answer; A) a team mate. But being serious, I know we are not the best in the aerial department going forward but vardy is very good at getting in front of defenders for drilled / low crosses. I seem to find that Chilwell gets into decent positions but then play ends up further back In our own half, often all the way back to Kasper. He's an extremely indirect and indecisive player when it comes to going forward but a great defender which I guess is the main thing! I don't think I can ever say we have missed him in terms of attack.
  10. Yeh, I missed all of his pin point crosses too.
  11. Watched them earlier against Palace and didn't think they were too bad but as already stated, Palace were poor. Sheffield Utd will be a physical team but more than beatable and we should be beating them without too many issues, we certainly have the quality on our day.
  12. Sounds like the easy game against Chelsea is going smoothly.

    Bitten!

Thanks for the reassurance mate, currently half way into my shin with a hack saw.

    Bitten!

Hi all, Does anyone know what these bites are likely to be from? One is on my shin and the second is on my ankle. Just under the size of a 2p coin but very itchy! Confident it isn't a rattle snake.
  15. 2 - 0 Chelsea - Pedro & Giroud.
  16. So they have given the 'generous club' perception by lowering Membership prices when essentially all they are doing is ripping off other fans to make up the difference plus extra. I understand football needs to draw an income but without fans the whole infrastructure of football crumbles, as would the club. Naughty move but I guess that's why the King Power brand is so rich...
  17. I'm sorry but sticking Vardy upfront alone, which is likely to happen, will eliminate him from the match. Its alright going defensive and playing for a point but Chelsea have the quality to cut through even the best defensive teams. It's a given that Kante will absolutely dominate midfield and cut out almost all chance of Tielemans creating anything for Vardy to latch on to. I suspect this will be 30 minutes of negative possession football before Chelsea's quality begins to show - Then I fear.
  18. Great servant for the club but Rangers is probably about the correct level for him now.
  19. Yes, that is strange - If they kept them running, a lot of people would realise that a membership is now their only hope of tickets thus meaning more sales, albeit part way into the season. With them no longer on sale, it's almost a backwards move for the club for some matches that will only bring in 28,000 or so. There's always going to be a lot of sales from general sale. I presume there is some logic in it somewhere from someone more clever or financially aware than myself but I don't get it. I also don't understand the extra ticket admin fee from a club that is actually so generous in terms of free gifts / drinks etc.
  20. It's strange marketing for the club to rather have empty seats and deprive people of general sale's just in the hope that those same people will purchase a membership....It's even stranger that the money they are milking from fans for ticket admin fee's, and memberships, is probably paying for free pink hats..
  21. My answer would be Dubai. I have never been so it's probably unfair for me to say that but it's also somewhere I would never want to go. Looks very nice but I don't want to be worrying that the slip of a swear word may get me stoned to death.
  22. Still think it's Liverpool's game to be fair. Chelsea started strong but there seems to be gaps opening up. Small errors cost them 4 goals at Old Trafford, still didn't play badly, but small errors are costly at this level.
  23. To be fair, starting to see the same mistakes from Chelsea now that cost them so much on Sunday. This could easily end up 3 or 4 to Liverpool now. Frank's half time team talks must be awful!
  24. Currently watching the Chelsea vs Liverpool match on BT Sport and I must say, Chelsea are looking a completely different team to what I saw when I watched them against Man Utd (baring in mind that score line wasn't a true reflection on the way they played) Having said that, Liverpool are not looking great and it could well be Chelsea stepping up to the cup final Vibes. Hopefully Chelsea will be a little tired and a little less up for our visit and we'll take advantage. Certainly don't get too carried away with Chelsea's 4-0 defeat at the weekend.
  25. I certainly hope so. He does frustrate me massively but also I would love for him to come good.
