It was clear when the line up was released that we would be simply repelling Villa attacks for the entire game. So negative and absolutely no attacking outlet. I expected us to go more attacking at half time because Villa definitely had vulnerabilities. I'd have brought Bouanette on to offer something going forward. We left it too late to try and salvage something. Thought Ndidi was poor....again...and not one of Fatawu's better games. Really thought Ayew was good. Really good game from him. All on all, even though we lost, It was enjoyable and there were definitely positives although we do need to start getting some points. Just hoping to beat Southampton, Ipswich and maybe Everton won't be enough to keep us up. I don't really see any other 'weak' teams. There will already be a decent gap opening up and the likes of us, Ipswich, Southampton & Everton are going to get left behind very quickly.

I mean, I wouldn't call it a fantastic window... We've signed a 31 year old below par winger, a 32 year old who can play multiple positions yet seemingly be not very good in any. Skipp is a 'meh' signing for me and the last minute deal for Edouard feels better due to the desperation. If we'd have signed him early in the window then most would have been heavily disappointed. All that whilst retaining the useless squad players who continue to syphon the club week in week out. The two young lads look to be good signings though.

Likely to be very unpopular opinion but i think Oasis are over hyped & whilst there are some hard core fans, many are just on the band wagon as it's deemed 'cool & Trendy' to love Oasis. Also, grown adults that copy the hair and coats of Oasis... They've got some cracking songs, i just find Oasis over hyped and annoying.

I've heard Rudkin's away in Butlins at the minute but hes confident of getting this one signed off first thing Saturday Morning.

Even more fitting against Aston Villa who's youth system he progressed through and went on to make a number of senior appearances for. Doesn't financially benefit King Power so won't happen though.

Yeah, wasn't a dig mate, more than valid point. I just feel that Fatawu is probably the most willing, and best defensive winger we have. He always seems to track back and get stuck in (albeit can be rash) I do get what you mean about midfield, my only fear is it's very negative set up and we'll spend 90 minutes repelling Villa attacks with no real outlet for ourselves to attack It's essentially setting out for damage limitation from the out set. I'd personally go the same as vs Tottenham. But swap BDV for Mavididi. I'm torn between Skipp & Ndidi. I'd probably go for Ndidi (just)

You'd drop Fatawu & Buonanette? I think they are 2 players most likely to offer us something attacking. Mavididi only has 1 good half in him.

I mean, it was against Tranmere and whilst a good strike, I don't believe for 1 minute it would have beat any Premier league goalkeeper.

Ndidi is literally like watching a clown. Not just his ability, but the way he moves. So gangly with giant feet. It's like he should be chasing you around with a mini air horn or something.
