Taking a dump on a player who was essential to the most glorious period of the club, just because he wants to leave and try his luck at a higher level, isn't being a fan, that's being dumb. Being outraged about the two games he missed but forget the 25 or so where he was essential, isn't being a fan, that's being fickle. I'll always try to back our players and wish the leaving ones well. I won't let myself get caught by the bitterness and react like a possessive mother. And if that means I'm not a fan,then I'm pretty proud of not being one.
