Improvement requires investment, and there has been none. Top isn't even interested in the men's team, so he's hardly going to care about the women's team. They've had a good run and exceeded expectations by staying in the WSL this long, but it's been obvious for a long time that it is simply not a WSL set-up. It's not enjoyable, and it's frankly tiring, watching them game after game trying to cling on to a point, even against the mid-table teams.
