I am the same as @Plastik Man in that I have prostate cancer and have posted before on here about it, but also feel I need to tell about it again. I had my prostate removed nine years ago, and all was well for just under 5 years, when my PSA started to rise again. After various scans it had been found to have come back and spread to my spine, probably due a drop of infected blood left during the biopsy or surgery. There is no cure for me as it has gone into bone, but with treatment, the growth can be stalled from growing for a while. I have had radiotherapy and am currently on hormone therapy, so just take four tablets a day and a 3 monthly injection. My PSA level is low at the moment (0.6) due to the treatment I am on. Hopefully this will stay like this for a while. What @Claudio Fannieri is doing again is amazing and cant thank him enough for not only raising money for research, but to raise awareness to as many men of this awful disease. Prostate cancer can and does affect any man, no matter who you are and what you do. I feel fortunate that my treatment has given me time to do a few bucket list things, the biggest was to walk my daughter down the aisle last December, something I didn't think I would be able to make. Thank you again for putting you body through all the pain again this year, you are truly a legend.

Desperate for a decent rumour
WestLothianFox replied to Winstonthedog's topic in Leicester City Forum
Top is selling the club to Elon Musk, will that do as a rumour? -
Stephy Mavididi (no real rumour, some clubs "interested.")

I thought we already had one, in disguise as the DOF -
If the rumours are true that we are waiting for the new season to sack RVN, I cant see us then sacking the new manager within the same season due to PSR
-
A new DOF
-
I cant see him taking that with just a deep fries mars bar, think they also need to offer Cullen skink, haggis and cranachan

Dont understand why not, we have progressed from mud huts and actually have proper houses with windows and heating, as well as tv and broadband. Not to mention the stunning scenery, but wont mention the midges

The difference is, Chelsea take our best players, and we take Southampton's shite

subbed at half time, no sign of injury according to Sky

When we are relegated, I wonder if the club shop will be full of merchandise with the slogan 'straight back down'

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
WestLothianFox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
At the end of the game, it looked like he walked onto the pitch to shake the refs hand and a couple of the Brentford players, but ignored the City ones, that was how it looked from the tv anyway, so something may be amiss -
I moved up to Scotland over 30 years ago, and have always tried to get to 2 or 3 games a season (getting a ticket not always easy) which is a 600 mile round trip. I have been to many evening games (as I used to work every weekend) then setting off for the long dark 5 hour drive home, arriving home about 3 or 4 in the morning. The way the team is playing and the direction the club is going, I really dont want to waste my time and money going down to attend a game

Prostate United Challenge
WestLothianFox replied to Claudio Fannieri's topic in Leicester City Forum
Thats absolutely fantastic Steve, and thoroughly deserved. Yes, we supported you and dipped into our pockets for this fantastic cause, but it was you that did the early mornings and put your body through all the aches and pains. The biggest legend is yourself and as a prostate cancer sufferer, I just want to say a huge thank you. It is people like yourself that will hopefully help to find a cure for this awful disease, again a massive thank you. -
Dont know how you got this picture of Dyche sitting on the loo with constipation
