The very first game I ever attended at Filbert St was against Huddersfield, we won 2 - 0. Hoping that’s an omen.

We need what, 5 more wins to guarantee prem football next season, if he doesn’t achieve that he’s gone. Realistically though that shouldn’t happen. The proof of Puels pudding will be in the recruitment next Summer I reckon. Surely his remit is to bring us European football in one form or another.

This lot shouldn’t be underestimated ! The recent Palace debacle should have taught everyone that.

Losing by 1 goal at Anfield this season is far from a disgrace. Liverpool going forward are fvckin awesome. That said, why we go 1 up then sit deep inviting them on us and handing em every incentive beats me. You’re not going to defend a 1 goal lead there! Hope things change when Silva is available. Huddersfield is a must win.

He wasn’t a great sucess at Newcastle, his loan at Hull was pretty disastrous, and he hasn’t featured for PSG since last season. Oh, and he’s 30. Surely we should be looking at younger options.

Personally I wasn’t impressed with his appointment at the time. But, I now feel I was wrong. Puel has steadied the ship and moved us into mid table. We’ve played some good stuff along the way but there’s obviously improvements that can and I believe will be made. If we finish mid table this season I’d be happy, then lets see what he can do next when, no doubt they’ll be some changes to the 1st team squad.

Simmo as a defender is just better than average in this league. For me that’s where it ends, his passing is more often than not wayward, and he has no pace or real intent going forward. Given his age and this injury occuring in a window, its a good opportunity to find someone that offers more. That said, after a poor start, he has been a good pro for our club, rarely missed a game and as been pretty consistent. I applaud him for that.

The lad still has a lot to learn.
