We were 2 nil up and conceded within a couple of minutes which was sloppy.... then giving away a stupid penalty, even sloppier. Which tackle from behind are you referring to? Skipp, who tackled from behind and got the ball, or Tielemans, who tackled from behind and got the ball? My main gripe was from the start of the second half villa wasted time and tried to break up play as much as possible. Fair play to them. I just don't expect the ref to completely facilitate that.

We didn't start negatively against villa. Negative, to me, would have been sitting deep inviting wave of attacks. And with the lineup, that's howvi thought it would go. That just wasn't the case.

On a positive, I thought yesterday, even though the team selection was on the negative side, we didn't have a negative mind set. We were pretty front foot from the off, and I appreciated that. Let's not kid ourselves, Tottenham (h), Fulham (a) and villa (h) is a tough start, and apart from the Fulham game we have acquitted ourselves OK. Is it possible that Cooper is new in the job and we've had a number of new signings and he will eventually find a better approach? Let's not for get, when Claudio took over, I think he was playing schlupp and de last as full backs for the first few games ad he was playing kante as a winger because he thought he was too small to be a central midfielder. Let's see where we are in ten games, but I am taking some positives from yesterday.
