Surely everyone just keeps the heating on a thermostat and if it's cold it kicks in like mine has a few times this week. This has to be one of the worst June's I can remember so far.

I agree this is actually a big positive that doesn't get talked about enough. Martin O'Neill is almost 2 first names as is Nigel Pearson so he's in good company.

I think people dissing Russell Martin haven't fully grasped where we are as a club. It's quite likely he'll reject us for a championship club or even a top tier club abroad.

Whoever it is we need them in and they need to have a clear idea of the job in hand and be and to get going on the rebuild and give us an identity ASAP. If it's Martin then so be it there's literally no one realistic that appeals anyway.

Surely we need a manager in place and then have friendlies chosen based on that.....

Would he be worse than the previous 3 managers we've had? Or is any manager doomed to fail with our current set up?

I'm not sure we should hate on him for not having ability. He works hard. There's many other posters worthy of our wrath.

Yup why would anyone with ability stay when we have absolutely no direction as a club. No manager, no coaching set up, no transfers, no friendlies lined up yet no plan for the new season. We've known the season is coming but there's no movement from the board or communication.

There's plenty of youth players we need for next season.

Think it will be in August by which time we lose a few players we want to keep because players don't know what's going on.

This is the problem of a good youth system we develop players for our rivals for free taking all the risk and little to no reward.

Only politicians and businesses that stand to exploit the population are for it. Oh and those who are brainwashed by news and media. I mean just look at the total character assassinations of those who want a better country and nationalise our essential services, they're called dangerous and anti-semitic and traitors.
