  1. I’m with you mate. id be playing Coulibaly and monga, with Evans on the bench. Bit of excitement on the ball/break to make the hammering less depressing.
  2. Why the f is Coulibaly not on the bench? i thought him getting hooked after 45 was mad too, he looked great going forward. mentality is all wrong. my line up of choice would be… Mads Coulibaly insert crap cbs here kristiansen Soumare Ndidi Bilal buonnanote Vardy Monga or for a safer bet, Soumare Ndidi and winks in a 3, with bilal left wing.
  3. Loads of people were flooding out the ground at half time on Friday. Unforgivable that. Supposed fans that “love the club”. Shambles.
  4. It’s literally not possible mate. Who wants them? Who will pay their wages? in case you have had your head in the sand, we are up the creek financially so can’t pay them off. we would be left severely in debt with no squad. your idea sucks. But I agree with the sentiment.
  5. Rudkin also turned down saliba for 6m
  6. Oliver skipp needs to get in the skip.
  7. That’s the problem for promoted teams. The gulf in class has become too big.
  8. I think that was the last time I bought something to eat in the ground - I bloody needed it that night, was piss wet through before I even got to the ground. The warmth was appreciated. To this day I still remember how good that balti pie was at that point in my life😂
  9. I voted not to sack him. This isn’t because I think he’s the right man for the job, or that I am happy with how things are going. The reality is that we are down already. Nobody available can save us. That means a stop gap manager, more money that we don’t have spent on compo and a new manager. The summer is a better time to recruit a new manager for the championship, more available etc.
  10. Im not really buying the “we are a hard sell” narrative. We are to an extent. But are you telling me there aren’t players who play in the positions we need playing in obscure leagues overseas that wouldn’t jump at the chance to sign for us? Championship clubs have luck in that market. We aren’t going to attract top tier talent, or be able to spend silly amounts, but we can do some business.
  11. Good result today. Though if spurs sack Ange tonight I’d be straight in there!
  12. And Ricardo when he’s back. That gives us 4 full backs - all 4 can play on the left and 3 of them can play on the right. We are absolutely fine in terms of depth there considering the situation we are in. Get the money in to strengthen in other areas.
  13. This is why I think we need to go for someone really young and raw. Especially now when we are looking at championship football next season. Surely there a 16-21 year old playing in an obscure league on the continent banging goals in for fun that can be had for peanuts.
  14. No brainier for 5mil! Get him gone! At this point we need to just be accepting the bids that come in for the wage collectors. Makes little difference if we end up a little short for cover because we are already down. At least we can get some players on big wages who aren’t good enough off the books.
  15. We are already cooked mate. Bank the money for the championship rebuild and hope that we have a capable dof and recruitment team in place by then.
  16. Also could see this happening. Was part of the red bull stable previously and didn’t really well. They know him well and know how to get the best out of him.
  17. If this is happening we need to get a quick bid in for Whittaker.
  18. Just a little walk down the road, turn left and I’m there.
  19. Any other team in the league would have a chance of getting something. Not us, I’m ashamed to say.
  20. Already been screwed over on our season tickets to watch turgid performances every week. Why would we part with more money? At this point, we should be being paid to go to the games it’s that bad. and the emails about match day experience are a joke, the management are deluded. Do they not realise that the only thing about the match day experience that matters is the performance on the pitch?
  21. Yep, and he’s made a great start! Beat sociedad last time out.
  22. If RVN goes, I think we would be best just going for someone young and promising from the lower leagues and who has the right mental characteristics and is quite happy to not have any money to spend. At least that way we will have someone comfortable with the scenario they have inherited, with the ambition to fix it. We are down anyway, so it just makes sense to me. Absolutely no point going for another name on big wages who is going to throw their toys out of the pram in the summer when they find out we’ve got no money to spend.
  23. We are literally the laughing stock of the premier league. We are such a mess, it’s embarrassing.
  24. Because without that transparency it doesn’t have the same impact. People can make assumptions etc.
