They wouldn’t sell him to us for a reasonable fee though. Football is a funny old game. Before July I’d have been well against signing Awoniyi. Now I would be quite happy with it.
-
Wife material.
-
Everything crossed for Big Bobby Faesen!
-
Agreed. Unfortunately we live in the real world where Rudders is running (or not) the show.
-
Really happy about this, 2 players the fans didn’t want conveniently becoming unavailable in one deal. Perfecto!
-
He hasn’t played senior football. so there’s hardly going to be loads of clubs wanting to take a punt, especially if we have stipulated that he needs regular game time. Which in my opinion, should be a mandatory requirement, otherwise what’s the point? He goes up there, plays every week and has a decent season and this time next year it will be a different scenario. This is a good move imo.

He’s no Bob Faesen.
-
I’m still holding out for 2x kaminski. Game changer.
-
As much as other answers are more funny, he’s a cam and can play wide left if needed.
-
Buy one get one free nice price Rudkin spesh? or Prime Rudkin want one and end up with the other for twice the price?

Philal Morroden

Already done mate. LEGEND TIER.
-
They overachieved, but they do have a decent side. Always keep an eye on them in the World Cup as I have some Moroccan family members.
-
I think we are about to get a lot of Moroccan members.
-
Big up the big bob faesen!
-
Honestly can’t see it though mate. As said above, he will take a bit to get up to speed and we have buennanote who has done well so far. Second half of the season that may change.
-
Even if he turns out to be no more better than an average premier league player, it’s the most exciting transfer business we have done this window.
-
Hoping the Okoli signing was with Faes’ departure in mind at the beginning of the window when the Barca links were popping off. If that’s the case we are shot of one average centre back (albeit are best one) and we can use the dough to chuck on a striker and a 10. Greek lad and Bilal to come in and Faes to leave would be perfect. Theres no chance in hell with rectify out dodgy defence, so we may as well chuck our eggs in the attacking basket.
-
Announce Bilal the baller!
-
And he opened his account yesterday, and what a goal it was. Exactly what we are missing. Those who were adamant we shouldn’t sign him should have a word with thereselves. Showed more desire and hunger to drag his team through in one move than many of our players have in 2 full games.
-
Would have rather us kept souttar than waste money on this lad. We didn’t need to be spending 15m on a 4th choice. We already had a 3rd choice cb that cost us 10m and in big wages, and a 4th choice Cb that cost us 15m. And then a promising academy prospect that could fill in for sick note coady.

It’s more a collecting average players problem tbh. But Bobby was signed as a winger, and has started both our first 2 games. ….on the wing Ayew played as a winger regularly for palace last season. Look at his goals record, if we signed him as a striker, that’s even more worrying. Kasey is a winger. That’s where he plays. We aren’t just collecting players, we are actively signing players that are bang average at best. It wouldn’t be so bad if they were young with potential to improve, but they’re not. Literally 30+ bang average at best players on big wages. One cost us 8m. We are literally a joke of a club, it’s disgusting.

I don’t think cooper even knows what style of football he wants, because currently there is none. If we had a clear way of playing that was strategic and we could see the reasoning behind it working on the pitch, I think a lot of us would feel differently. It all just seems clueless. seriously, why we didn’t go in hard for corberan is beyond me.
